Looks decent. But why does the ball roll so much like the green is made of rubber or cement on approach shots? Is there a way to put DRAW on shots? Still think the Hot Shots/Everbody's Golf physics/golf engine is the best on the market.
A note to MS from an XOX owner. You can't beat your chest about having the most powerful console on the market when you put out a 1st party game like SOD2 and it looks like a PS2 game graphically. and it's a rushed out buggy mess. wtf? Even the Crackdown 3 graphics looked really average from gameplay videos out there. What's more mind boggling is how can they get SSX3 (released in 2003) which is BC on XOX to look really incredible in 4K... but we get this visual garbage for a new 2018 game? What is going on with MS 1st party? Awful.
Yeah definitely time for them to take a break on AC and do a Splinter Cell game now. But please don't do what MGS5 did and basically sacrifice the single player game by adding some bizarre MP stuff. SC games of the past have had decent MP so it should be ok hopefully if they don't do anything crazy.
As a multi console owner I bought the XOX for 3rd party gaming and Forza Horizon 3 along with all the BC stuff. Sony and Nintendo are owning MS when it comes to the 1st party games. The two games I play the most right now on XOX are SSX3 which is somehow in 4k and looks amazing for a game from 2003.... and Fight Night Champion. It's just a shame they didn't do an Enhanced graphics version of Fight Night for XOXwhen they made it BC. EA needs to do a new FN game already.
This is a bummer and will hurt BB in the long run when it comes to gamers supporting the store anymore. It was there main reason to shop at BB and this if going to hurt their gaming profits/business big time. Maybe they were taking such a loss with GCU that they don't even care if they lose gamers money. Here is the question now going forward with GCU going away... does Amazon now get rid of their prime discount on pre ordered games? Because the only reason they did it was to compete with BB and GCU.
Now if EA would only lose the NFL license so other companies like 2K could get back into making football games... many gamers would be very happy. and btw... The Golf Club is an ok game..... but it really needs a lot better development for the next game. The game stutters, rips and tears etc... like crazy on consoles. Their #1 priority should be getting the game to play smooth and seamless because the first 2 games are basically unplayable because of the stuttering frame rates.
@crono71: Here's a question... if you have no interest in the "Fisher-Price" Mario, Zelda and Nintendo games... then WTF are you doing in this article/comment section?
