If military based first person shooters was never your type of game - buy this one! But I still have a wish list...
OK, by now you've seen the reviews, and probably know this is a good game. I am not a first person shooter (FPS) gamer, but I have logged a lot of online hours on this one. The single player is a nice little thrill ride,... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
Buy it now at the "Greatest Hits" reduced price. It's the ONLY super-hero game where you feel like a superhero
Funny thing about this game being called "Rise of the Imperfects" - like the storyline, this game is a first, flawed try at giving gamers the feel of being a super hero. Now that you can get this cheap - buy it... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
Does Assassin's Creed really live up to all the hype? Before you take the "leap of faith" - rent it first!
It great that UBISOFT has taken on such an ambitious project. You love to see something a little different, plus the creation of a great looking game world. And you get a great looking game world. But is it a great ga... Read Full Review1 of 1 users found the following review helpful
The sixaxis control is not the problem... but OTHER design decisions ruined what could EASILY have been a classic.
There is a lot of talk about how bad the game controls are, but the problem with LAIR is not the controls - there are several tragic design decisions that send this game crashing down to earth. If the game levels wer... Read Full Review1 of 1 users found the following review helpful
Yes, I never was a big fan of Final Fantasy games, but FFXII is just great. I finally got some of that good old feeling of adventure and excitement that seems to be lacking in most games. Since so much has already been s... Read Full Review6 of 7 users found the following review helpful
An amazing game, but not for everyone. By far the best of the series - definitely a great time to try and here's why...
No other game offers such epic battles with so many amazing dragon-like creatures. To down your beast you can choose an unbelievable variety of armor and weapons, along with various gadgets that help you gain the upper h... Read Full Review4 of 4 users found the following review helpful
Trade the mind numbing 10+ hours of cut scenes for more stealth-action and co-op split screen...please
From all the 10/10 reviews of this game, it seems that all along gamers just wanted hours of badly written soap-operas in their games and less actual game play. Who would have known? I find this scary - are there now ... Read Full Review1 of 7 users found the following review helpful
Other than the fact this is one of the few games with split screen co-op AND split screen multiplayer, it's garbage.
I wonder if I should just write the word cr*p here about 100 times to sum this one up - that would offer you more imaginiation that the writers gave us in Haze. Like the story of the optimistic boy who searched the m... Read Full Review1 of 2 users found the following review helpful
This game has some fantastic elements for a FPS. It also has very mediocre graphics, and a dismal story line. It's hard to settle for this after games like COD4 or even Drakes Fortune demonstrate what next gen graphi... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
OK, I've logged in over 100 hours on Oblivion and I'm still having fun and finding new things, so this is a great game. The strong point is the twists and turns in every little quest, reinvigorating the whole concept of ... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
Revisit GENJI - one of the best AND worst - after playing Ninja Gaiden & Heavenly Sword, it still deserves a play.
Like a gorgeous woman dressed in a steel clown suit, Genji DOB will frustrate you. But if you can break through the pain, the combat system of Genji DOB is incredibly robust. I found the combat in this game much more s... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
This game takes two steps backwards from "Legend"... are the other reviews based on wishful thinking?
After playing "Legend" - which was great, I had Anniversary pre-ordered - I figured it would be a slam dunk. "A Funny thing happened on the way to the forum" though (er, that's a musical comedy from 1... Read Full Review3 of 5 users found the following review helpful
Ryan Davis, of GameSpot, has no business reviewing this game. It is a shame he is still involved with Monster Hunter.
The PSP version of Monster Hunter (MH-G really) is a great game. Ryan Davis is still looking for a "lock on" mechanism... anyone who has actually played the game will realize how comical that comment is; It's kind of li... Read Full Review10 of 12 users found the following review helpful
Nicktoons unite has some serious flaws which make it a huge disappointment. Fans deserve much better than this.
I bought this game because it is a 4 player game, so the whole family can play. The four player mechanism is fine, but there are some serious flaws: 1) The controls feel "floaty" and rough - almost like something you... Read Full Review3 of 3 users found the following review helpful
Great environments, playing styles, fantasy RPG at its best: why did the designers wreck it with idiotic restrictions?
What is the difference between challenging and frustrating? There are a lot of factors, but once you get pulled out of the game world's illusion and start wondering at what point the game designers got their heads so far... Read Full Review3 of 8 users found the following review helpful
A remarkable experience; gorgeous graphics and sound, great weapon control, and magically realistic monsters.
A truly remarkable gaming experience. Gorgeous graphics and sound, great weapon control, and a magic realism that gives you jaw dropping, hair raising life or death battles with awesome monsters. Unfortunately, Gamesp... Read Full Review1 of 1 users found the following review helpful
