Not sure about it being the World's Hardest Game, but I'm pretty sure it would be in the top five for World's Most Aggravating Game

My friend and I have been having game nights. New school gaming at his place, and old school gaming at my place. I'm looking for recommendations. I've got Atari 2600, 7800, ps2, nes, snes, genesis, n64. So far, our fav games have been Battletoads, Zombies ate my Neighbors, Double Dragon, Gauntlet II, x-men also many fighting games like Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter etc (which, I know aren't co-op, but you play at the same time)

Any more recommendations?

There's a gamecube accessory out there called "Wii" that will allow you to play them. Just hook the "Wii" up to the tv next to your GC and you should be good to go.

Trace Memory R looks like an interesting concept. And Cursed Mountain looks better and better as more screnshots come out.

Yes, but watered down on graphics and sound only; not game content. I think levels and such would have to disappear too, and that's not worth it to me.

Way to show those second hand sellers that you better go to night school because you wont have a job for long.

Thank our lucky stars that one company is willing to stick it to these places that prey off selling second hand games.

Selling used games and accessories is big business because modern games and accessories don't usually keep people's interest very long, or the replay value is low (or they just suck to begin with). I mean, there are exceptions. Take the Power Glove for instance. I still use mine all the time... for playing with myself. It's useless for video games.

Nice comparison, lots of work went into this post. One note I'd like to throw in here is that the quality of games has increased, so it takes developers longer to make games.

However, having said that, I personally have not had any interest in 90% of the games coming out for the Wii, but much interest in the games coming out for other systems (which I do not own.) Nintendo is definitley pushing their games towards a very specific audience that would be the niches that the other major consoles are missing out on. Sad for those of us that want to play a game that's not super cheesy.
