@asultana121x: yeah I just bought an Xbox One X couple months ago and I gotta say, the ability to just play a lot of OG XBOX and 360 games with no problems is a god send.
I personally do not think Sony will ever discover how to do backwards compat for PS3 games though, which sucks.
@cboye18: I agree with every part of this comment about pacing and whatnot. I feel the exact same about the early Uncharteds and Last of Us 1, but absolutely DESPISED the pacing in Uncharted 4. What a boring empty lifeless slog that game became after awhile. Sam also can't hold a candle to Chloe, Elena, or Sully.
If Last of Us 2 has Uncharted 4s pacing, or worse...maaaaan I might have to wait for a serious discount on this one.
@nickyparmar92: lol why do people keep saying this? It gets proven wrong EVERY SINGLE TIME. Dad of War? Sold gangbusters. Same with that JEDI game recently. Single Player Games are here to stay now and forever.
Better than Wooly World, and better than all of the handheld Yoshi games...but still can't hold a candle to the King...Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island on SNES. They need to get that music composer and boss designer back from the original game, cuz none of these Yoshi's Island clones have gotten it right since...and most of them just copy the SNES bosses.
I can tell that Crafted World will end up being the 2nd best Yoshi's Island-type game ever made though, it's really fun. Just wish it was designed for EVERYONE like the original was. Like most people have already pointed out, these Yoshi games are just too heavily catered toward children under 10 these days.
@xshinobi: I freakin LOVED DmC. It's probably my favorite Devil May Cry game. It only got a bad rap because 360 and PS3 weren't powerful enough and only ran the game at a paltry 30fps, and Devil May Cry is a game that ABSOLUTELY HAS TO BE PLAYED at 60fps. That's why I appreciate the remasters on PS4 and XBone because they brought the game close to PC standards with the buttery smooth framerate.
I gotta be honest, I was on the DmC hate wagon for a long time...until I experienced it on PC running smooth as butta. Changed my entire perspective on the game
The chick on the motorcycle feels sorta like Sonic, but the main character actually felt more like Sparkster to me. This game always felt like more of an offshoot of Rocket Knight Adventures than a Sonic game.
Disc 1 - Masterpiece. If ONLY they had more time. You know, back in high school I never really knew this game was unfinished. I just knew that I was getting sick and tired of entire screens full of text while watch Elhaym Van Houten sitting in a chair in the background. I would just sit there thinking to myself "Why am I not PLAYING these parts of the game right now instead of reading???"
It wasn't until YEAAARRRS later that I heard about the development hell this game went through and how it straight up wasn't finished. So so sad. Xenogears would EASILY be my favorite RPG of all time if that 2nd disc was finished.
