I agree that KOTOR is the best Star Wars game to date. However, it was the beginning of Bioware's decline for me. Still a must-play, of course.

Atmosphere looks spot on, the supernatural element could be attributed to a drug or sthg. Still a bit daft.

I think that if a game is as good as it can be in a given timeframe, it should get a 10. It doesn't mean that the game is perfect, just as good as it could be. I mean, Space Invaders, Defender and Pac-Man were definitely perfect at the time they came out...

Hey....that just popped into my mind with the power of a bullet. I see a point in nopalversion's logic. They create controversy because controversy attracts attention to the game and the game sells better. lolJedo

Well, I wouldn't go as far as to credit them with creating the entire issue, but I think they time their responses in order to keep the whole hubbub going.

Well, game intros are getting better and more impressive all the time, but as an older gamer, I just can't forget the era of the Amiga. Psygnosis (now Sony Studio Liverpool) did some small masterpieces at the time, such as Shadow of the Beast II, or The Killing Game Show. They should be up on Youtube, I suppose.

Gothic didn't seem to get much love from american gamers. Psychonauts and No One Lived Forever seemed to fall of the radar fairly quickly too. All three I enjoyed. Drosa

I agree, Gothic kind of got lost in the hype surrounding Morrowind, but it was a better game in my book.

I have to say this is a bit of a disappointment. This is obviously going to be a huge success, but there's no evolution to the franchise. After the two Norrath games, it's not going to be easy for me to just start clicking away again, unless they introduce some real defense mechanisms.

Sometimes, I'll play a game for ten hours srtaight, and I'll never touch it again. Weird, I know, especially cause I don't often have the opportunity to play for so long.
