Totally viable. Portable homes have come a long way. Where I'm at, you can shop for an acre of land ~$10,000-$15,000. Plant a vegetable garden, get some animals, dig a well, couple generators, you're set. And put up one of these suckers, which will run you another ~$12,000, base.

@last_lap: Like I said, physical media exists in PC, gaming or otherwise. I use it consistently. Newer games, no, but that's a developer thing .
