Simply repeating something over and over again does not make it true. I'm actually a lot more interested in the PS4's gaming lineup than I am the Xbox One's. But even if your tastes run a bit more in the Ryse/Titanfall direction, there really isn't a "clear" advantage with games at this point in either direction.
Right now the PS4 has the the Xbox beat on price, power, gamer trust, and privacy. The Xbox One has Kinect, which may or may not end up being a plus for them, and the game situation is still pretty debatable either way.
I've got an open mind about the Steam Machine and Steam OS. Initial thought is that if I want to play PC games on the big screen, I already have a fully built and sexy PC to just hook up to my TV.
On the other hand, the console market certainly could use some additional competition in it and adding extra voices into the mix competing for my gaming dollar is never a bad thing. I'll be curious to see what Valve comes up with and willing to give it a closer look as more details emerge.
At the moment, I think I'll probably pass, but I'm open to having my mind changed. I'll probably read a couple of reviews, ask a few buddies who have played it for opinions, etc.
I may be in the minority here, but this is one game that I genuinely don't want any single player DLC for. I thought it was a damn close to perfect game, with the storyline and character development pacing flowing very nicely.
I felt it ended very well and that inserting anything else into the story would be like adding unnecessary clay back onto a completed sculpture. I'd genuinely prefer to just have the game stay exactly as it finished.
