The following is copy and pasted from a post of mine on a different website because this solved the problem for me and will hopefully help anyone else searching for an answer through google.
Hey man, if you still have the problem I was in the exact same situation with the bell turbo hub until I followed these guidelines: http://www.digitalhome.ca/forum/showthread.php?t=118071
Even though they're refering to a rogers hub it's a similair process and got my PS3 NAT to Type 2.
In the even that the link to the thread doesn't work the following information was posted by Crono and is the most pertenant to getting your PS3/360/Wii up and running with a bell turbo hub:

I have the MTU problem solved now, however, now all I get are NAT errors. It has to do with the port forwarding on this unit. It is kind of odd compared to most routers.
Anyway, to the MTU problem. DO NOT LET XBOX FIND IT`S OWN IP ADDRESS. Access the Rocket hub first(you should know the password. it is in the user manual). Click on Internet and on the right should be your DNS`s. Two of them. Write them down. Now, go to your XBOX and give it an IP address, usually 192.168.1.1-255. Put in the subnet mask and the default gateway. Exit out and enter into the DNS portion and put in the numbers you wrote down.
Example.
I.P. 192.168.1.20
Subnet 255.255.255.0
Gateway 192.168.1.1
DNS 1 69.31.192.11
DNS 2 69.31.192.12
Once this is done you should not get MTU low anymore. I did not adjust anything in the Rockethub. Just made the XBOX dedicated. Keep in mind to, that you should do this to any other unit you have. Playystation, Wii, Laptop, PC. Just make sure each one gets there own separate IP address.
Hope this fixes your MTU low problem. If it does write in to the forum and help me get this port forwarding figured out. I have , what I think is the ports forwarded, but something still is not right.
This is what I Have set up:
Nat Port Server IP Server Port Protocol
3074 192.168.1.102 3074 UDP
3074 192.168.1.102 3074 TCP
And so on. I am confused on the Server IP portion, if this should be the XBox IP address or something else.

So accessing Xbox Live is not a problem anymore, however, Nat strict is. I have done a lot of research in regards to port forwarding and found that the way I had the ports in the Rocket Hub are right. I believe it has to do with the IP adress the Rocket Hub receives from the ISP(Internet Service Provider). If it is a Dynamic IP then that is the problem. Static IP should make this go away, or at least go to moderate. When looking at the IP of the Rocket Hub it starts with a 10. 10,172,192 usually indicated a private, secured connection. No in, no out.
Will keep posted once I talk to Rogers Tech Support. Which in my case has not been very helpful. I found out apparently no one is trained on the Hub. And I had to explain to Tech support how I COULD get the Xbox and PS3 to connect even after they tell me it is not possible. Not very good if you ask me.

Well, everything is solved now. Now Nat problems on Xbox and PS3 is at Type 2, I think I need to port a few ports.
Anyway, as I stated, Give the unit it's own IP and give it the Subnet Mask, default gateway, DNS's.
The problem is that the IP address is on a private network. You need to call Rogers and ask for a public IP. It costs an extra 10 bucks. However!, I WAS paying 80 bucks for a crappy internet connection. Now, depending on how much I use, it's max is 60 bucks. WOOHOO! Anyway, Rogers will explain how to put in the passwords and what to do. To me this is worth it. Oh and one of the DNS's may change. So watch it. Anyway, good luck to all!
Happy Gaming!

Oops! I meant NO Nat problems with Xbox Live and PS3 has a type 2 Nat. Sorry, typo.
Crono post#5
First make sure you even need a public before wasting money. Very easy to figure out. Enter into the hub and click on Internet. On the right you will see an IP address. Now, open another window and go to this site http://www.whatismyip.com/. At the top of the page it will say "YOUR IP ADDRESS IS:" Do the IP addresses from the hub and site match? If not, you need a Public IP. This is why you get the Nat problems. Also, your hub IP probably starts with a 10., this also indicates a Private IP.
So, assuming you need a Public IP. Call Rogers or your ISP(Internet Service Provider), and ask for a Public IP, NOT STATIC! Static is $100. Public is $10. They will tell you what to do but I will explain here as well. You need to access the hub, click on Internet. Midway down is "Authentication". You will remove the check, if it is there, from Auto APN. You will then put in the APN, username and password that Rogers/ISP gave you. KEEP THESE NUMBERS/PASSWORDS FOR YOURSELF! You never know when you may need them again. Authentication Protocol should be selected as PAP. Hit apply and reboot the hub (Reboot was a great Canadian T.V show).
Now, once the hub is rebooted enter it again and go to Internet again. Now your IP for the hub and IP at the IP site listed above(hit refresh first, the site needs to be updated), should be the same.
So, now you will want to write down the DNS numbers from the hub. There will be two.
I will explain here first and then give an example. Go to your Xbox network settings. Give your Xbox it's own IP(reason explained later). Put in the subnet mask, gateway and the DNS's you wrote down from the hub. EXAMPLE:
IP 192.168.1.105
Subnet 255.255.255.0
Gateway 192.168.1.1
DNS 1 64.93.101.5
DNS 2 84.69.255.15
So now you should be able to connect but it will give you a Nat error of Strict or Moderate. PS3 will be Type 3.
Now to port forwarding. Very easy to do. Enter into the hub and click on NAT. make sure Enable Upnp is checked. I clicked all the boxes for the the Application Level Gateway supported protocols. Don't think it really matters. Now below that you will see port Forwarding. Click on "Add Instance", you will get a new screen with:
Protocol:
NAT Port:
Server IP:
Server Port:
So EXAMPLE, say it is for Xbox Live. ports 3074,80,88,53 need to be opened. NAT port and Server port are the ports, 3074,80,88,53. The server IP is the unit you will be allowing access. In this case the Xbox(Now the IP you gave the Xbox,PS3,Laptop,Wii, anything with an IP that you need to forwrd a port is used here). Protocol is either tcp or udp. Some ports require both some only tcp or udp. EXAMPLE:
Protocol: tcp
NAT Port: 3074
Server IP: 192.168.1.105
Server Port: 3074
You will need to do this for every port required. Hit apply and when everything is said and done reboot the hub again and your Xbox/PS3, let it start up completely and do the network test again. Should go right through with no problems.
As for data usage. Some fool at Rogers said him and his buddy hit 60GB in one month. I have played Xbox(Halo3) for about 2hrs, did a bunch of updates to mine and my wife's computers, downloaded some songs and have just about hit 750Mb. I don't think Data usage is a big problem. Each round in halo was about 1-3Mb. not that much. Also, Rogers website has a cool calculator
(http://www.rogers.com/web/Rogers.por...l=wrlsDataCalc)
to figure out how much you will roughly use in a month. I still didn't really go over 5GB with unrealistic numbers from my life****
So, if Rogers would have marketed and trained some people, they have a serious market here for Rural areas. But, what do I know(Sorry, but kind of irritating). Good luck! Please message if any problems and I will try my best to help. Also to keep up to date if it worked for you, feedback is very important.

Well, after you asked, I went and tried the PS3 and did a little research. Type 1 is the best hands down. This is a no protection, direct internet connection. Maybe not to safe. Type 2 with no errors after a connection test, is perfectly fine. Again, this is what I found. I have no PS3 games to test online(sorry). So, before, I was Type2 with an error at the end of connection. I ported the right ports and made sure I had the right settings on the PS3 and presto! Type 2 and no errors. So, if xbox has no problems then PS3 wouldn't either. As for the email, can not answer sorry. I use hotmail, I have no problem with that. I would imagine no problems through email in Rogers. My Service Agreement tells me how to set it up so I may try. Sorry I could not help anymore in that regard. Honestly, depending on what you have now, I would do it anyway. But that is just me due to the crappy internet I had.
