Only if I resurrect them and buy a Wii.

Silent Hill 5 Going Multi-Platform?
Tsuboyama claimed that the Xbox 360 "is definitely a candidate" despite weak sales in Japan, and though he congratulated Nintendo for its success with the Wii, he didn't think it was necessarily the best match for the Silent Hill franchise. "This by no means says we will not consider the idea," he added, "but the general opinion is that Wii is for family games, and I'm sure the fans don't play Silent Hill with their grandma!"
Best not to underestimate the hardcore, Wii-playing grandmothers. Tsuboyama slyly closed the interview with a non-denial denial about a potential E3 appearance for Konami's survival-horror series: "I'm not saying Silent Hill 5 will definitely be there, but you should be!" Mark the calendars for mid-July, folks.

[QUOTE="KillJeff"][QUOTE="latinrage69"][QUOTE="KillJeff"][QUOTE="Rougehunter"][QUOTE="KillJeff"]And so was Xbox. Guess who won?The PS3 is a powerhouse. All developers know it.

What does that have to do anything to what I said?
he's saying that just because a console is the most powerful, it may not win. last gen, the xbox was the most powerful and it lost.
That still didn't have any relative stance to what I said.
yes it does, you're just not seeing it clearly so let me explain it more carefully. if a dev is creating a game for the most powerful console, they will be more involved in having the game feature more effects. that takes a lot of time to do, especially for a new console. that time could be better spent creating several games, while not visually stimulating, it manages to sell tons and push console sales further which means that devs will make more of the same type of game. just look at the wii. the wii is a joke of console but manages to sell millions of consoles by marketing inferior looking games at a lower cost to them and in a shorter time frame, thus having the ability to make several games for more profit. sony didn't help matters much when they gave devs SDK's and tools that where as learn as they were to develop for. most devs hail ms for the ease of use of the xbox 360 tools. the tools are actually so easy to use that ms licences the tools to individuals for $100 a year to develop their own games to be sold on the live marketplace, ie the user created games/content.
Nice thread. But he's right. This has nothing to do with what he said. Saying develoers know the PS3 is a powerhouse is not saying "All developers know the PS3 is a powerhouse AND the best system to develop for."So what this article is saying is that it looks like ps3 will be losing another exclusiveParadiddleFillLOL. If the PS3 sales don't improve then, YES.
- Planescape: Torment
- Riddick: Escape from Butchers Bay
- Starcraft and Broodwars(on the PC, not the N64)
- Return to Castle Wolfenstein
- Eternal Champions
- Diablo 2
- The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
- Resident Evil 4 (PS2)
There are more, but these are the ones I didn't have to think about to remember.
Im sorry, can you say that again? I missed it the first hundred times.Sony ain't competing with the 360's launch, they're competing with the 360 now.
I must sound like a broken record having repeated that statement so many times.

Shhh! You shouldn't post the truth on system wars. You might have to back it up with facts.
