It makes perfect sense when you consider the price of rent and homes in major cities and because more people are likely to be single and live with parents than have an SO at all.

Bill Maher is human form of literal trash (who even watches this guy anymore?) but James Corden is a fatty.

Then, no.

To say it could never be a socialist country is a bold statement. Perhaps in 50 years, when the overton window has moved (inevitably), we could be looking at a very different America. Not to mention capitalism can only stay in effect for so long, and it's already evident by the incredible and irreparable damage it's done to the environment and to this planet in just two centuries.

Define socialist.

Good question. This wasn't clarified or defined by the people in that poll. I'm guessing most people probably meant the "socialism" that most Scandinavian countries have, which I assume would be classified as social democracy. My question was about socialism, where the state owns the means of production.

Maybe a democratic socialism maybe but probably not. I'm all for universal healthcare (healthcare is a right and we should help others) and free education (since a proper education would fix so many issues). Taxation from what I can tell in the USA it's very similar to here in Australia and it's enough even for the rich. They rich pay 43%. Isn't almost half their wage enough?. Also a millennial.

You would be in the minority, then.
