@khanwashere: why would you see that as a screw up? It's not only good for gamers but good for the industry as a whole. I really don't understand how that can be a bad thing. Maybe Microsoft don't care about fan boi one ups.
This is news now? Wow. Should we expect to see an article every time there's a slight hiccup with any of the major services from now on? Or is this just a one off attempt at digging at MS?
@shadowpandora: Ah here we go again with the pathetic exclusive argument. If you're so insightful, as you claim to be, then you'd realise that a console developed to make the devs job easier and allow them more power to work with is only going to attract more studios. Give it a year and the exclusives will be flowing again. Also for many gamers a console is just easier than a full out gaming pc. That's why the console market still exists. If everyone thought like you the market would have been long dead. Now go bury your head back under that huge rock.
@shadowpandora: Thank God you're not a developer, you'd be out of business within a week.
Ms - "Oh hey game dev. We require you to release your game on Windows 10 aswell as Xbox one, meaning you'll be tapping into thousands more customers and potential sales of your game. Sound okay to you?"
Dev - "**** that. Ain't no one forcing us to sell more of our game!"
Congrats on winning stupidest post of the month btw. :-)
@guitarist1980: You talk like exclusives are the end all & be all. As if Scorpio is only going to be able to play exclusives released after the Scorpio hits the shelves. That's not true, it'll play non exclusive games too, as well as any xbox one exclusive already out there.
As for devs, if you think about it what's the one thing that'll attract big triple A game devs??? Yeah that's right, a solid console with the ability to push out what the devs want from their games. Then bob's yer milkman, we'll have exclusives.
