If your PC is old and your motherboard died you'll need to get a similar motherboard and they're likely discontinued and over priced brand new. You'll need to look for used motherboards on eBay.

For GPU, just get the best bang for your buck you can get. Which is probably an RX 580 8GB for $170, or an RX570 for $130, both come with 2 free games which you can sell or keep
