I'm torn between bourbon (Four Roses 100pf), scotch (Laphroaig 10yr), and beer (Skull Splitter)

@Ross_the_Boss6: That's the thing. Different skin tone alone should not prevent the viewer from being able to relate to a character. What about personality, likes, dislikes, personal philosophy, etc.? Am I being crazy here?

Yeah. When you can't enjoy a superhero show just because you feel threatened by "all that black skin everywhere", insecurity might be getting the better of you.

I don't feel bad for her. But I doubt she deserves it simply by being more well off and stingy.

I'd say if largely peaceful demonstrations frequently get broken up by authorities violently (or with disproportionately extreme measures) with either indifference from or support from the government, that would be a good indicator of when a line has been crossed. Still, there may other factors to consider as well.

I find spiders to be elegant creatures. I especially like those beautiful web weavers that are powerful and skilled enough to catch and kill birds.

And last but not least, they're great for dealing with pests (mosquitoes, rats, etc.).

EDIT: Now and then, I fantasize about genetically engineering an orb-weaving spider the size of a St. Bernard with a carapace bulletproof to anything less than a high-powered rifle, and I would feed it live baby cows or adult pigs, and take for the occasional walk through my town.

Zootopia for me. Good film, clever allegories and all. Didn't think "Try Everything" would be that catchy of a song but it lasted in my head for a bit.

Well, that's one way to express dissatisfaction with Apple overpricing their products, I guess.
