First XBL is only 50 bucks, and how does getting a console and online, stillf or less make the ps3 better. BTW your second remark is so stupid, i could buy 2 or 3 Wii's for the price of the ps3 so you shouldn't even go there. Not only, how much will a new tv cost you to see the next gen graphics in hd :)
Can I point out somthing pretty big? I am 17 and am thinking of picking up an Xbox 360, my friend wants to get a ps3. I told him how much of a difference are we going to see when we are both running them on our old t.v.'s? It will be after college before I can aford a HD so im thinking 5 years from now before We will have the full HD quality graphics. So what should be said is how much better will the ps3 look on regualr tvs over the 360?
About the rising cost of games, we will get to a point where publishers won't be able to put out crappy titles and try to sell them for 70-80 bucks idk when but eventually they will get that high. The majority of consumers may be able to afford a high inital price for the console but if the games cost 80 bucks, how many titles will you be able to buy each year? Titles such as MGS and Halo will sell well but after people dump their gaming funds on these mega hits how much is left over to try out new titles that haven't been sequeled to death. Right now It almost seems like a viable option to pick up a Wii just to be able to get some cheaper games to tie me over for the big hits on the one of the other consoles make it a worthwhile investment.
