Yes, although more involved combat. Maybe not as intense as God of War or Heavenly Sword, but combat should be bit more detailed, or even just a bit more graphically pleasing than Link's hack-n-slash sword skills.metroid_dragon

That's something I've wanted to see for a long while. I liked the new sword skills added into TP. I'd like to see a bit more of that in Zelda titles, giving a bit more action focus to the game. It'd be a welcome addition in my opinion.

-Shiek, change the B and b moves to stuff a bit more useful

DJ-Lafleur

You want Shiek to be even more useful? On the competitive level, a Shiek player is often unstoppable thanks to the combos and speed available.

I have never seen an unstopable shiek or a shiek anywhere near that. Shieks attacks are weak but she has speed. Her combos are meh.

Gary's absolutely correct, I've played in a large number of competitive smash bros tourneys and Shiek is definitely a tier 1 character.I believe I said this earlier, but her, Marth, Fox, Peach and Falco all need to be toned down.

Btw, Shiek has many devastating combos as her disposal.

This would probably explain why I kick so much ass as Marth and Fox. :P

For the tier to really show, there needs to be some real expert players fighting each other. I have a friend who is "okay" at the game. He knows some advanced techniques, and he was trying to get comfortable with fighting as Fox. It takes quite a bit of work to master some of those tier 1 characters. I could beat him with a much lower tier character, but when it came to fighting another friend of mine, I have to be in the upper or top tiers to be able to beat him. The tiers do show, and you are right, they probably do need to be toned down . . . just a bit. :P

Well it sure doesn't seem normal.  A similar thing happened to my friend's Wii, with warranty on it.  He just had them send him a new one.  If you have Warranty on your's, you should have them send you a new one.

It seems the lesser populated areas get Wii's much easier.  I don't even have mine yet and it's been a rediculous two months.  I'm not too worried at the moment.  I've been patient, I'll continue to be, and it'll come much easier now that Christmas has passes.  I'm content now with Guitar Hero anyway :P

I feel utterly jealous of all of you :P  I have the game, but not the Wii, and I've put in about an hour or so on my friend's Wii.  It's a nice full game from what I've experienced, and I'm really looking forward to actually getting the Wii.

I always keep Link with his original through the first play of the game, then I rename him through other playthroughs, even going back to Link sometimes.  I'd do the same with Epona in TP.

I'm tortured, good job :D I've played about an hour and a half on the game only. I don't have a Wii, my friend does though, and it's a nice long game from what I can tell, a long but full game.

Well I've officially got Twilight Princess. I imagine it'll make the wait (*cough* 31 days *cough* ;)) that much harder. I'm praying it'll go by in a blink, or that I'll fall asleep for a month.OhhSnap50893
I know what you mean. I got Twilight Princess at the beginning of the week, the game guide came with it, and I've been utterly tortured. I can't look through most of the guide due to spoilers. I accidentally came across a very large spoiler while skimming pages :? What's worse, I went to get the Wii this morning at Gamestop, waited in the freezing cold for quite a while, and they only had 6 Wiis!! I was out of luck, and next week, 6 Wiis!! I don't think I'll get one for a while now :?

I honestly think he did the review on both games to see the reaction of the crowd.  He does give other games some rather high ratings they didn't truly deserve.  Giving Tony Hawk's Pro Skater a perfect 10 :?  And Twilight Princess an 8.8  I really think he's putting his opinion a little too much into the reviews, they should balance the quality, and the fan's ideal game.  It's confusing though, as he did give OoT a perfect 10.  His focus is on how revolutionary the game is, Twilight Princess takes an original Zelda formula, and pushes it to the limit.

I'm positive the GC version of TP will beat the score of the Wii version on Gamespot, because many of the reasons GS gave it a lower score was for Wii related problems.  However, I wonder what the average all around score of it would be, as many sites said the Wii control system was even better than the regular control scheme.
