@kadaverhagga: So Halo series it "shit" on Xbox? I mean it was in console first. Beside Halo, Killzone 2 and 3 are also amazing on PS3 - which is console too. You can not judge console dump down the quality of FPS.

Call of duty went down hills because of recycles and trying to release every year. Battlefield is from EA - but Dice still trying with Battlefield 4 and 1 which is /will pretty good. All other FPS went downhill because of poor quality from contents and lazy development.

The fault is from devs do what they want or improve the quality of contents - not the console. I can list some of good FPS such as Bioshock series, Resistance series, or even and many hidden gems out there. And remind you that Half Life 1 -2 still release on consoles and PC which was still amazing til those days. Nothing gone downhill after releasing on console.

So this Quake can still happen on consoles IF they want or not. Good optimize can still bring quality in graphic, controls and contents running on small consoles.

While Doom is still run fantastic and beautifully on consoles (ofcourse PC is the best). Overwatch is cool too. There is nothing in the trailer of this Quake make it so supar for not running on consoles.

Because I am a new PS4 player (I have PC too so don't comment why you buy PS4 for what. I play games not only for master thing!).

@Tiwill44: That is what I don't expect for this gen. Not only exclusive, even with indie or any games on any platform. Everything is trying into "drama" which is very bad.

So I will use PC + PS4 Neo + NX as my primary platforms to play all games. Yeah, I am not rich but can handle buying those consoles as long as they still have nice exclusive games.

@defiler: for every 10 games, there is always 1-2 remaster/ remake/ reboot. And it is very rare, plus it is not monthly release also. I don't know why you said "where are all the new games this gen?". They are in the news / reviews/ previews all of time.
