So they delayed the game the first time because they moved to Unreal 5... and yet, the game looks worse than the original demo trailer. How is that even possible? It doesn't even look like the same game or area.

@Barighm: You really want to go there? Elden Ring, is Sekiro, which is Dark Souls III, which is Bloodboune, etc, etc. They all have the same damn gameplay mechanics, ... hack, hack, roll, hack, block, roll. That's it'. That is literally EVERY ONE of From Software Souls game. They are about as deep as a kiddie pool. They are just games with enemies that hit really hard, while you have little HP. In a nutshell, that is Elden Ring in just an open world.

God of War has way more complex combos, a better narrative, better storytelling through a "one-shot" continuous camera, better voice acting, better graphics and visual, and better music. Do you really want to talk about using the same crap as before in a game? Come on man, God of War is better in Every Single Way. You can even ramp up the difficulty to the hardest and make it like Elden Ring, what ER doesn't have is any difficulty setting.

God of War wins best performance, best narrative, best score and music, best action and adventure, best audio, and best innovation in accessibility and still loses to Elden (aka Hack, hack, roll) Ring, sorry, not buying this as legit. Elden Ring was cool but has nowhere near the production value, performance, story, graphics, and gameplay mechanics, it's below God of War in every category, period. Again, Elden Ring was a great game, but it's not better than God of War Ragnarok, period.

@killer_elite_: Was this intended to be written in English? Also, who's mad? I only see you typing in all caps?

You know what worries me, Microsoft puts Call of Duty on PS, Steam, and Nintendo for 10 years and gradually builds its user base so high, that when that 10 years of "sharing" deal is over, they say, we're not going to continue the deal and then everyone who is now invested in COD will have to play it on MS's platform of choice.

Will they do that? Who is to say, but could they do that? Absolutely and that is what the FTC is trying to prevent and I say good on them. Maybe, Activision should be broken up and sold off into pieces and COD becomes a 3rd party development house co-owned by MS and Sony who will keep each other in check to make sure the game and brand remain open to all.

Just my two cents.

@Elranzer: Either way, I'm not saying the game isn't good or worth the effort, I'm saying this port took money, time, and resources to even port to the PC first, let alone consoles. Those are all things that could have been put toward an official sequel to MHW, a true next-gen version. But the idea of let's spend all of those resources on upscaling a Switch game for better consoles and the PC just seems like poor planning and management.

Why?

The whole point of Rise was that the Nintendo Switch couldn't run Monster Hunter World, so they made a Switch "Lite" version of it with lower resolution visuals, lower frame rates, lower draw distance, yadda, yadda, yadda. PC, Xbox, and PS5 owners already have the option to buy MH: World, what is the reason behind this? Even the video above says don't expect anything drastic in terms of visuals, it's just cleaner, not better.

This seems like a blatant cash grab, why not just put money and time into creating a new next-gen version of Monster Hunter, especially with EA's competitor coming soon, instead of peddling the low-grade Rise to people who can get World, arguably the better game?

@illegal_peanut: Cavill is back and will be in the post credit scene of Black Adam setting up Cavill's return.

FYI, the Rock has tremendous power in Hollywood now. His ex-wife Dana Garcia is his business partner and manager. She also happens to be the manager of Henry Cavill. ComingSoon.net, a reliable source has also confirmed his return, thanks to Johnson.

@judaspete: Nah man, if you have kids, this show is AMAZING for adults aka parents. It brings back a lot of memories for us and what WE did as kids, you can tell the writers are tapping into that nostalgia for the parents, the jokes are great and as a father, Bandit is SPOT ON.

Love this show. I can finally sit with my kids and enjoy what they enjoy on a different level.
