As a network administrator, I definitely find power to be extremely important, as I work with computers and servers on a daily basis. I own a Wii, but it hasn't been played in a little over a year. The "gimmicky" motion controls annoy me, as do the graphics. I prefer FPS and role-playing games (Battlefield 3, Gears of War3, Skyrim, FFVIII, etc), and therefore I find graphics to be of utmost importance in the FPS genre and role-playing. I also play many online MP games. Once again, computing power plays a huge role in these games. Don't get me wrong, Wii has a market, just not with me. I am only saying that Nintendo would be wise to produce a system with a large computing capacity so that they will considered for the games that require it. It wouldn't hurt them to have games suited for online MP, intensely graphic shooters, and an option to play with a normal controller would be nice as well. Not everyone wants to get off work and jump around and wave their arms. Some (like me) would play Wii more often if they could have an option to play with buttons instead of motion...

I wouldn't consider it being "first." It is the first Nintendo system that uses HD graphics. For this reason, I must say that it is coming"last." They are merely playing a game of catch because a large population has moved on to HD tv's. I have played the Wii on my HD tv, and must admit it's rather ugly (therefore, I no longer play it). So in my opinion, they are the LAST to enter the HD gaming market. It is also to be expected that the newer Xbox and Playstation will be much more powerful by comparison.
