I have both too, and initially I felt the same way, but after a while I got fed up with comparing the two. They do essentially the same thing, both look about the same graphic wise, and the good games coming out for both are about equal. I may play my 360 a tad bit more, but if I only had a PS3 I would be just as happy.

I played the beta on the 360 back in the day, and I had a lot of fun with it. Sure, the graphics aren't top notch, but the ability to blow up cover, specifically buildings adds a whole new level to the FPS that keeps this game interesing, at least for the first 50 hours of play. I haven't tried the beta on the PS3 yet; hopefully the issues are fixed before the final game comes out.

ive personally never had a problem distinguishing between friend and foe, but I can see how it could be confusing with the different colarations of names above player's heads. I just know not to shoot at any player with a name over their head.

Contrary to many viewpoints I've read from people in the beta, I love this game. While its not perfect, hopefully many of the problems will be fixed by the time the actual game comes out. I think it plays like a faster paced BF2. The inclusion of destructable environments adds another element to the game, as hiding in buildings is no longer an option. There are some balancing issues between classes, and sometimes I feel like the vehicles are a bit overpowering, but overall I love it and am looking forward to playing the final game when it comes out.

I hope this helps!

This is not a thread bashing the quality of the instruments, I just have a question. For those people who had to send in their instruments to be replaced, how long did it take for EA to send back a new one?

It should get some praise, as it is a fun game. It is not the best game ever made, and it is going up against a lot of fantastic releases this year though.

they also used a controller with no battery pack that was wireless (i think they took a wired controller and cut the cord). they also were not very good at continuity editing as the batteryless controller switched hands multiple times throughout the scenes.

i've enjoyed both of them, but when it comes down to it, Halo 3 feels very familiar while TF2 seems fresher to me. overall, both very good purchases and should not be missed, but in 6 months from now when all the hype has died down, I see myself still playing Halo 3 (cause thats how it was for halo 2)
