Hi! This is my first forum post, so... yeah.
Anyway, when New Vegas was released I decided to revisit good ol' Fallout 3 and try to squeeze as much enjoyment out of it as possible. However, when I played the DLC...
I played Operation: Anchorage just fine without a hitch, barring a known intel case bug. I played through The Pitt without a hitch. However, when I got to the end of the vanilla main quest and got to the DLC quests, I noticed a problem near the end.
SPOILERS FOLLOW:
In Adams Air Force Base, I noticed the draw distance was acting strange. I couldn't see very far into the distance, but it wasn't just your standard low draw distance. There was no fog, really, everything just literally ended at one point. I first thought this was a design error, that you could see the edge of the map, but when I used the 'tcl' console command to turn off collisions and go over there, things began rendering. I thought this was odd as I had my draw distance on the highest settings and this problem doesn't appear anywhere else, only DLC-specific locations. I completed Broken Steel regardless, but when I decided to investigate Point Lookout, I noticed that on the boat ride there, the draw distance was ridiculously low as well.
NOTE: My Fallout 3 screenshots key is having some strange problems at the moment, so I cannot provide screenshots until I get this worked out.
Thanks for reading and any help would be much appreciated! :D
