"What? Never heard of these games before?" -I bet this would apply to allot of people here.:P

That's my Reason to pick these, These are just a few out of dozens Amazing games that are underrated, under appreciated And get overshadowed by some [Un-Named] trash of a game.

(All in my opinion of course.)

out of all my time on these boards I've only seen about 3-4 people that even mention X³, and 1 other person for Tension.

Okay, I'm intrigued, what is that? Couldn't find any sensible info in google or GS other than it's an adventure game.

For me I'm not sure, maybe GalCiv2, dunno how popular it exactly is but imo it would deserve to be right up there with Civ4.

Aside from shooting mechanics and graphics I think it's still the best online FPS there is. But unfortunately for a FPS those two matter quite a bit, it could really use an upgrade, c'mon BF3.

I can see why they might think it's a good idea in a open world RPG, but personally I like entering a new dangerous area and get my ass handed back to me by some friggin godzilla, and I especially like coming back later as a sort of half-god and just cutting everything in my way down, it just isn't a good RPG to me without that feeling, it's what makes leveling up and looting interesting. Still I can put up with it if done well, which for e.g. in Oblivion it wasn't.

I know some WoW addicts who also play some CS(chinese go figure), few EVE players and few other not so serious PC gamers. None have consoles as far as I know. But overall I think it's pretty tied here, with most prolly having PS2 at least.

Even tho it's free I can't bother, started playing it and it begins to download a 2.7Gb "patch", which I suppose is the game itself. Not bad but there didn't seem to be any pause or resume option for it and the download was just too sloooow. Interesting move by EA tho, they're really redeeming themselves in the eyes of PC gamers, or at least they should be.

It's one of the most impressive looking games I've seen and the maps will apparently be quite large, not to mention the first one was a pain to play even on kb/m. So yeah, not shocked really, it would prolly take a lot of work to actually make it good on a console and the audience just isn't there. There's still OF2 for the console audience tho, not sure how compromised the gameplay in that will end up being but if it does well maybe it will encourage Arma2 port as well.

[QUOTE="mr_mozilla"]Well I think all PC games have been "hacked", but I've never seen any in BF2 or TF2, if you stick to good servers you shouldn't have problems in most games I think. Of course with something like L4D it's a bit tricky when the server browser is..well, lacking.DanielDust
Well there isn't a browser implemented in the game, officially, but you can open the console and write openserverbrowser, then you go to custom servers and voila, now you can browse servers :) helps when you're avoiding Russian players that shoot you in the face without any reason, that leave you for dead :P, that go Rambo and the whole team is decimated because they were so cool.

Hmm, so it should actually work in the game? I tried it out once, I could find the servers but when I tried to join them it didn't connect, I thought that it just doesn't work with the game. Gotta give it another shot, I absolutely despise L4D's "matchmaking" or whatever they call that disaster.

America's Army is a good one, it basically controls like every other FPS so it's not much of a shock to jump into, but the gameplay is much slower, objective based and favours team-work. Not sure how active the old AA is anymore but I'm thinking there's at least enough people to get a game going, but the difficulty is high since everyone left is prolly a long time vet, AA3 should fix that tho.
