This game never really seemed to offer anything new that I saw. Everything was something else that has already been done. Anyways , no big difference to me but sorry to those that were looking forward to it.
In typical gamespot ''excellent journalism'' Eddie didn't bother to update the news that in a more recent interview it was confirmed that it IS possible to have Unreal 4 on wii-u. But you know , typical Eddie , only wants to report the negative side. Peak of unbiased journalism eh?
@Jason_da_psycho The thing everyone seems to be forgetting is the type of games that have dominated this generation. I should dare say 80-85% of the popular games this generation have been shooters or action games that very nearly are shooters. It's not last gen where we had loads of platformers , adventure games , stealth games , etc. what most games have become are blockbuster/popcorn-flick style games. And that is just not really a place for female protagonists to be. Not because females are some weak inferior race that doesn't have the right to be there , but it's because of the value held in women that they aren't put in as dangerous situations. People are so anxious to rant about how women should be in so many games they never actually take the time to see if women belong in said game. Assassin's Creed... why there's only been 1 female protagonist and likely only because of people guilting them into it? The amount of women that have played any part in violence/war besides spies is ridiculously small.. almost non-existent. And even in modern war the presence of females on the front line in war is quite rare. I mean ... even male protagonists have been stereotyped this gen. Name the last male protagonist that didn't fit into the 20-something , white , muscular build with stubble?
And the fact Carolyn feels the need to compare women fighting for their right to vote to female protagonists shows just how off-base the feminist movement has gone. It has gone from a very real and necessary movement that worked to get equality in the workplace and government to unending griping because a market that is designed to aim at the majority is aiming at the majority.
@GaryAtkin01 Amen to that. As a white , straight , male I can't count the number of times it's implied or outright said that I'm what's wrong with the world. I'm naturally a horrible awful human being for being part of the majority and the only way I can redeem myself is by supporting the new incorrectly motivated feminist movement.
