@georgebot84 A completely random person with only their opinion behind a computer commenting on a thread on GameSpot , better spread the word ... this is THE OFFICIAL word on what makes a real gamer and what doesn't! And to think... my whole life was a lie this whole time.
@deadruler08 You're on GameSpot right now , now I expect you to log into your account every 24 hours or you'll have to pay a fee to re-activate it. You're on it right now. So what's the problem with being forced to be on every day whether you want to or not?
@TomMcShea oh ok , sorry about that. Didn't see the "next page" link , thought it seemed like a weird place to stop. oh ok , that's good. I can play horror games but only in spite of the horror. thanks!
@berethor099 @jamesbond2198 Yeah , that's exactly what I'm saying. I don't mean this to sound harsh when I say "Do you want the game on the system or not?" , they're just trying to offer console owners a chance to play the game. So I don't think the game should be scrutinized for not holding up to console standards when it was never intended to. It's like everyone's saying "come on over" and welcoming the game in only to knock it down and stomp on it when it comes over when they're the ones that invited it.
@jamesbond2198 But it never claimed to be anything but an HD version of the 3ds game with a couple improvements. It would be one thing if they were claiming it was a completely different experience. So I think it should be treated as a port , not with the same standards as if it were a console-only exclusive.
Played this on the 3ds and I think it's a bit harsh to say it's flat out "not scary". Sure it wasn't as tense as the originals. But I think even the fact it had 1 or 2 fairly tense moments (I remember actually being somewhat scared during the Rachael zombie popping out of vents at random times) is saying something considering the mindless action-shooter the series has become. While it wasn't terrifying it was certainly an improvement compared to the console versions.
