Truth is they don't, but it's a quantitative thing that people on boards such as this can fight over.

[QUOTE="GameShtopper"]

I'm waiting for a PC version.

Fable 1 + 3 did it, and they are owned by Microsoft unlike the Gears of War series.

I hate to burst your bubble man. It 'ain't' going to happen. Ever.

I just wanted to know if you guys have love or just hate for the game. Please leave the ignorance at the door.

Brother has a 360, don't care for gears of war though. Mass effect is the only one I'm hugely interested in, and I actually play it on PC. Gears I find repetitive and boring, takes too long to take enemies down, isn't fast enough, has a bad storyline, and the special kills don't feel special since you just hit a button and they do it for you. Don't think I'm a PS3 boy though, I just never like halo or gears, so thought it a pointless investment

meh who cares?

PC got to play it when it was the cutting edge in graphics, and pretty much killed the hardware race, and made people realise, we don't need to go much further, it's not got as huge a point as it did back then.

Now consoles are caught up? Meh, it's nice for them

this is the dumbest poll ever... I'm sorry to say but HD gaming will happen, and has happened. Nintendo are the niche now for GAMERS. A pretty good niche I may add, but still it's not going to make any difference to the rise of HD gaming, just to nintendos overall hardcore fanbase

play them all... but thats mainly just because they are great games all of them follow the same basic story, distress signal, on a seemingly deserted planet, turns out theres a space pirate base there who were experimenting on metroids and have raised them to life AGAIN. samus kicks ass and kills the mother brain. the end couldn't really call them spoilers since the story line has NOTHING to do with the greatness of these games. Fusion has a story though... it's a pretty good one too, but it's more linear than the rest of the metroid games... still great though

Why does this bother you exactly? Also, GameSpot isn't composed of one person.I mean what I'm getting from this is that all of the gamespot editors decided to get together and write a review on the 360 version of Mega Man just to be fanboys? "They" isn't correct. It's a single editor. And to call GameSpot staff x360 fanboys as a whole would be ridiculous. Tom McShea wrote it..

[QUOTE="BrunoBRS"][QUOTE="nini200"] Or were they?.?.?.?.? (eerie music starts playing) What if some freak accident happened which caused the mining accident thus resulting in all the people from the space colony being fused together thus resulting in that big pile of nasty, Mother Brain?

GabuEx

mother brain ordered the attack. ridley did the job. sorry, no bizarre B-movie plot twists here :P

Nah, Mother Brain wasn't affiliated with the Space Pirates until later. That one was all Ridley. :P

chozo didn't use mother brains, wasn't mother brain the aurora unit of a raided federation frigate?

and on another matter, I'd far rather see a squad based third person shooter, where you play a group of highly trained federation troups, with co-op, in whatever form you wanna have it... Remember the days where nintendo where the people doing 4 player co-op and the other companies were brushing it off as pointless?

personally I'm a huge metroid fan, and I'd love to see a wii styled metroid prime hunters maybe just spend more time on one and get both in there? ie. don't sacrifice the offline, but instead spend the extra time on multiplayer, and after that have improvements made to the online each game, rather than completely redoing it

I know I am, xD And it has all the essence for an FPS game. The only things that are sacrificed are Wii Speak, HD graphics and offline multiplayer. They're not that important.

Pices
offline multiplayer was the only part I liked about cod4 the rest of it was overly simplistic, and just rubbish to be honest, I find it a complete joke that it's so highly rated... it;s maybe because I play PC FPS and pretty much anything done on "nex gen" has been outdone
