@RevanBITW: It's easy to look at box scores and stats to make that determination. And honestly, it's not your fault, you don't watch every Hawks game like I do. Trust me, there are very few QBs that would succeed with this team. This is an 8-8 team with most of the QBs you listed before.

Again, nobody can actually point out a flaw in his game. You say he's slightly above average. What makes him slightly above average? I don't care about the defense or the running game, tell me how he's only "slightly above average."

@GotFiveRings: I agree, especially the deep ball to Kearse. Underthrown and into double coverage. I know you guys don't watch the Seahawks every week, but if you did, you would know how unbelievably strange it was that he made those decisions on Sunday. He seriously never does that, he's the king of throwing the ball away.

@RevanBITW: How did last Sunday show he's not consistent? He's had a handful of bad games in his three year career, that was clearly an outlier and not the norm.

I just can't wrap my head around this. Andy Dalton is a favorite target around here for criticism on not winning big games. Wilson goes to two SBs and wins playoff games in his first three seasons and all we talk about is the other QBs we think could have done the same thing.

Kaepernick? Seriously? Eli Manning? Matt Ryan? Joe Flacco? The latter three would have been flattened like David Carr behind our shit line, and Kaepernick would be busy too busy throwing INTs (which Russ doesn't do).

I wait for someone to point out an actual flaw in his game (which there isn't).

@RevanBITW: I disagree strongly. The team is built around his strengths, and he is a rare talent. I could see Rodgers or Luck doing just as well/better given the offense and surrounding players, that's it.

I don't think people realize that Wilson's surrounding cast on offense isn't much besides Lynch. The offense line is more porous than Spongebob, and we have a gaggle of number three receivers masquerading as number ones. We always say, "Man, if only X had a better surrounding cast. It's not his fault the rest of the offense sucks." Well guess what? Russ's offense blows hard and he still led an offense that scored 24.6 points per game.

I'm not going to get into the "elite" conversation because that is a nothing, throwaway word that has no value. However, anyone that really doesn't think Wilson is a great QB has never watched him.

It's easy to boil down three years worth of starts into his shit game yesterday, and many of you are trying your damndest to do so. But that's a ridiculous position to take.

Nobody can ever actually give me a fault in Wilson's game. It's always talking about Lynch or the defense, like that somehow makes him less of a QB. Yes, obviously those things help him. I'm not denying that. Having a great RB and defense is going to open the game up for him. But to act like that's the only thing that makes him good is asinine. How many great defenses are there, where we go, "If only they had a QB." If it were as simple as good defense = good QB, the Bills would be in the SB right now with Orton at the helm. Let's not forget that Tarvaris Jackson largely had the same squad Wilson did, and he went 7-9.

Also, fucking lol at comparing Wilson to Kapernick. I'm seriously doubting if you have ever watched Wilson play besides yesterday. And this is coming from a guy who actually likes Kaep.

Let's not forget that Wilson's receiving corps is a big bag of dicks. They can make big plays, but none of them demand extra coverage or anything. He's never had anything close to a true number one.

I'll never understand how people judge QBs. They chastise guys who have good regular seasons but can't win "big" games (Ryan, Stafford, Dalton, Romo, P. Manning), but then claim that guys who do win only do it because their team is good (Wilson, Roethlisberger, E. Manning, Dilfer).

I'll end with this. No QB has ever won with a bad team around him. Montana had greatness, Bradshaw had greatness, so did Starr and Aikman. All those guys who won multiple championships did so with great surrounding casts. If your only criticism of Wilson is that he is surrounded by greatness, go home. You have no argument.

Holy shit. I mean, I'm almost speechless. The best part is that Baldwin and Kearse, who played like royal twats most of the game, came up huge there in OT. I can't believe this.

@GotFiveRings: It's a lot more fun watching you miserable fucks cry when your teams eventually bite the dust. It's only going to get worse after the re-pete.

Sigh, I wish the Hawks were doing this well back on the old forums. The only glory I ever got back then was when we beat the Saints at 7-9.

This didn't surprise me at all, Peyton looked done those last few weeks.
