I don't think the idea of there being so many remakes of classic animated films will ever sit well with me, especially with how half-assed the previous ones have been... but I'll admit, this trailer makes the movie look quite a bit better than the teasers did. I can say it looks kinda' fun, based on the trailer.
Very doubtful that it will reach the quality of the original, for sure, but a Disney remake being genuinely enjoyable, even if it's only a little bit, is a big step up from their last few remakes.
@EricShadow366: Right? As excited as I am that Final Fantasy is getting so much love on Switch, not seeing VIII alongside the other PS1 games hurts my soul. It's easily my favorite out of the bunch.
I really hope this ends up being true. The original Spyro games are among the few titles I can play over and over again without growing bored and to see them get the remake treatment that Crash got makes so much sense. I replay the whole trilogy once a year because I love them so much!
I already figured we'd get a Spyro remake at some point or another, but to have it out this year would be amazing.
Man, I loved Catherine, so I'm sure I'll love this. I'm pretty interested in this new "Rin" character and how she'll change things up. I just hope her introduction doesn't wreck the story. The story of the original game was really good, I'd hate to see it get dumbed down or somethin'.
Regardless, I'll definitely be keeping an eye on this.

In all seriousness, this could be a decent movie, so long as they don't go overboard with the style of humor present in movies like Minions/Despicable Me. Didn't care for those movies at all.
But regardless of how they handle it, I won't be expecting much.
