One of the best RPGs of all time, for free.

Yes, okay, that will work for me.

No Lost Odyssey, no Red Dead Redemption.

Wake me up when they add the good stuff.

Half-Life 1-2, Bioshock, The Last Of Us, Assassins Creed II, Ori and the Blind Forest, KOTOR 2, Fallout 3, Every Mass Effect (Even 3. No matter the ending, the beginning was awesome.), Every GTA, (This series knows how to set the mood and wow you with its world when you first experience it. Bethesda could take lessons in "setting the mood" from Rockstar.)

There are many more, but that's off the top of my head. Without exception, each of the listed games is also awesome. Seems like knowing how to begin is a big part of making yourself memorable.

EDIT: Oh, and Saints Row. All of them. Even the first one, trying wayyyy too hard.

I wrote a very detailed essay on my own findings (drastically truncated for comment-section-readability) in this area, and then promptly lost it when I accidently hotkeyed "back" on my browser. Sigh.

Regardless, Cam needs to be my friend. Reality Check is the only reason I still come to GameSpot, and these bits are genius. His fascination with the mechanics behind people and games (often simultaneously) is a hobby of mine. I feel like we could have some very amusing conversations.

These new maps play like they put a budget B-team on the job. Less inventive, less tactical options, less visually interesting (which is hard, considering how bland the other levels already are). If you love Titanfall, you'll buy it to stay current so that you still get matched into games. If you're not sold on the content-barren wasteland that continues to prove you can get people to pay 60 bucks for just about anything... well, this certainly won't change your mind. In fact, this particular map pack is a good argument against the already money starved approach that this game has taken from day 1.

@Sevenizz Also have it on PC. It's just not very good. While I'm sure it is easier to just believe all detractors are "just upset they can't play", in truth it's just being panned by people who want more than the shallow trawl through multiplayer tropes that is Titanfall.

Paid map-packs are just going to continue fragmenting the already decaying community. Frankly, Just about every alternative to Titanfall is a better one.

For a significantly better experience, try Hawken or PlanetSide 2.
