A great RPG many people don't mention from this gen is Resonance of Fate. It's as unique as it is great. Turn-based, yes, but unlike anything you've ever played before...I guarantee it. The only RPG from this gen that I have played through twice. And with as many RPG games still sitting on my shelf that I've yet to play...that's saying something.

All great games listed here and I've played them all. Dragon Quest (every game in the series), Suikoden (every game is great except for Tactics), Chrono Trigger (a very special game!), and FFXII (I really enjoyed this, although opinions tend to be mixed). If I may, I would add Grandia II to your list. I played in on the Dreamcast, but I know it is on the PS2 as well. Grandia II was my favorite in the series and still holds a high ranking in my own personal list. But honestly, you cannot go wrong with any of these listed. Good Luck & Enjoy!

I am hopefully going to be in Missouri sometime in July......3rd weekish....I think. It would be great to have a CCU meeting.....and I agree that it should definitely be in Missouri since 3 members reside there and a few other members aren't too far away.

Still looking for Legend of Heroes 2 & 3...having trouble finding either of them locally & complete, but patience will pay off, I'm sure of it! Phantasy Star Portable 2 is another I'm not finding locally either, but there again...if I Keep on Keepin' on, I'll come across it eventually (I hope :P).

Very cool happening today! I was shopping at a locally owned game store in town and the owner came out of the back and gave me a Sega Gen 2 with a SCD attachment. There is a "but" to it though, no power sources, needs cleaned, and there is still a small chance one, the other, or both don't work. He said it's just been sitting in the way, but still, it was a very gracious gift and hopefully with a little tlc...you never know, right?

Anyhow, I now hopefully have a new segment to add to my library! Picked up one today to use to test the system once I get it up and hopefully running.
