Me? Not really! I'm very good at RPGs, but then I don't think it needs that much skill like an action game, for example, especially if the rpg is in turns.

For me, it really depends. I have been quite busy with college, working full time and on top of that training courses for advancement in the Navy. But even so, I usually reserve a few hours a week (mostly on weekends unless it is drill weekend), like 3-4 hours. When I don't have to worry about college stuff, I can spend 8 hours if I don't feel like reading or watching animes instead.

I thought Star Ocean would get at least an 8... but oh well, I'll play regardless of the score anyway! :P

I don't know if it helps with the ring of death, but I do know that it prevents freezing, at least with my 360. I was playing Eternal Sonata and it used to freeze all the time. Then a friend mentioned that I should try installing the game on my HD to see if it helped. I followed his suggestion and the game didn't freeze once after that.

I agree! Honestly, if you don't have time nor resources to fix the issue, just take it off...

Very nice job with this CC soundtrack, Seifer! When I played CC last year, I was also amazed by its soundtrack, especially the songs from FFVII - One Winged Angel is superb on this OST!

Hahaha, very good video indeed! I believed I mentioned here or on my blog review, that I cried at the end of the game... it was very emotional, like IGN mentioned, a brilliant ending, and very touching.

Crisis Core gets review on IGN.

Closing Comments
"And that's that. Issues aside, Crisis Core is a great PSP game -- no question. It honors Final Fantasy VII's legacy. Even the game's music, while not composed by Nobuo Uematsu, is charming and fits the overall st.yle of the world (though some of Uematsu's pieces do make a return and to absolutely stunning effect). I was sincerely moved by certain portions of the title and I suspect many others will feel the same. I wouldn't dream of spoiling anything for eager players, but I will say that Crisis Core's ending moments are a must see. I'd go so far as to call them brilliant.

The power and emotion of the game is heightened by the raw inevitability of Zack's fate, which is fully explored in the original. I really enjoyed my time with this title, despite the gameplay problems, and I think this is yet another fantastic reason to own a PSP. Enjoy it."

8.5:D

Wanderer5

NOW that's a good review and good score. I believe 8.5 to be a lot more just than that 7.25, that's for sure! Thanks for sharing this, Neku!

Hahahaha, you guys are so sweet. I didn't quite ask for tips on how to beat him (because I know that my problem is because I was just rushing through it all, as I mentioned!), but I appreciate your responses! You know, that potion "trick", when I was playing the PS1 version, it took me forever to figure out that I had to get right of the lower grade potions in order for them to use the higher ones such as X-Potion.... yeah, my brain is quite slow! XD

I would be happy if the whole entire game was sprites. Those are my favorite graphics ever.WSGRandomPerson

Hahahah well, I'm not as radical as you, but I also like sprites. Still, I believe that, if you are paying that huge sum of money for a next-gen, you deserve better than that. My belief is: because is is so easy (relatively speaking) to make a game these days, and because most of our RPG companies are already stabilished and in good health, they do not put that effort, that extra mile in making their games. It almost seems to me that they don't have that passion they did in their golden years (SNES/PS1 in my opinion).
