Hi there. I turned out to not like The Sims 2 on PSP that much (no offense). So I decided to give in and install the PC version on my computer. I know it's The Sims 2 and Nightlife put together in one pack. I know getting it is a great deal. You save 20 bucks compared to buying both separately but and it costs like 10 bucks more than the base game's price. Thing is, I'm more into the University and H&M expansion pack. And I might like or not like Nightlife. So my question is:
  1. If I install both to see if I like it or not and it turns out I don't like it, can I uninstall Nightlife but still keep the base game?
  2. Can I start off by installing the base game first and then trying Nightlife later on?
Thanks a lot.

Thanks a lot... =) =)

I don't mess around with homebrews so I guess I'm safe... I dunno why I still don't have the guts to play around with them.

I do like to play it safe and I do worry a lot about using apps and all. This is really the first time I ever played with consoles where people can do things to the software. Or well maybe more that I'm too much of a coward to ever do anything funny to my softwares when I'm enabled to.

Hi everyone. So I've been wanting to play Rainbow Six Vegas for a while now and I finally got it (not at Dynabyte, so I had to pay full price for it--which makes me sort of bitter because RSV is one of the most expensive games around). Anyway, so my PSP came with an 2.81 firmware. Never updated it because I never thought it was necessary. But today I got a message that to run RSV you'd need the 2.82. And I'm okay with it, was thinking of just doing it right away until it said my battery was too low to upgrade.

But then I suddenly remembered loads of people were DOWNgrading their firmwares? I still can't figure/remember why they would be doing that as I haven't been playing handhelds (PSP/DS) until I left my parents' house. Does anyone know why these people would be doing that? What are the disadvantages of upgrading? I mean I want to play the game, but what should I be aware of?

Thanks. =) =)

Hi, I'm new here. So I hope I'm doing the right thing.

FIFA World Cup 2006 (http://www.gamespot.com/932161) is missing. I mean it appears in searches and everything.

I'm confused. I added 3 games into my collection list (The Sims 2, FIFA World Cup 2K6 and Need For Speed Most Wanted 5-1-0) and a few others on my wish list. BUT the FIFA World Cup 2K6 doesn't appear on my list. I mean it says I have 3 games and the Estimated Value is more or less correct, but the list doesn't show the title where it says The Sims 2 and NSF... Take a look at: http://www.gamespot.com/users/mia76/games_table?mode=own

The list pretty much looks like this:

Title Platform Genre GS Score Users My Score
205
Need for Speed Most Wanted 5-1-0 PSP GT / Street Racing 6.9 1363
The Sims 2 PSP Virtual Life 6.1 626

I hope I put this report on the right thread. Cool website, btw.

Thanks...
