Game actually plays decently on the GTX 580, some settings on medium/high at max. Apart from a few hiccups and stutters, it runs well on my end.

^ How is First Person mode? I imagine I'll be using M&K and first person mode.

I used to play the game on the PS3, now I'm taking every opportunity to play in first person and I must say it really adds to the experience, it feels like a different game. Riding a motorbike on the highway, being chased by cops while wearing a helmet (yes your screen gets tinted and you can see a tad bit of your helmet frame in first person) really gives you that awesome rush. The details still look great close up in FP mode, it pretty much can pass for a next-gen FPS game itself.

I found that shadows were usually causing me to stutter and hiccup, I had to change from Nvidia to Softest and Shadows from Very High to High, it helped quite a lot.

Grand Theft Auto V

I think the optimisation of this game is brilliant. Most settings are on High, one or two on Very High and Ultra, but seems to be running well on the GTX 580.

Rockstar definitely learned from their mistakes. This game was meant to be played on a wide range of different PC specs.

Aye. Rockstar did it right this time. Best PC version they ever made.

I think it looks absolutely stunning in with 4k DSR and maxed out. Maybe the best looking game out right now

That 4k goodness!

I expect we'll be seeing some more GTA V bloopers from you now that the editor is at your disposal :P

I'm loving the game, the graphics look great and it runs buttery smooth on everything set to the max settings (only complain is lack of AA options), the gameplay is really tense and the atmosphere is top notch, keeps you on the edge of your seat. The alien ai can be unpredictable and at some times, knows where you are and toys with you. You think you're safe in that locker as the alien walks by until you see a claw ripping off the locker door. If you're into scary games (headphones, dark room, the usual scary game set up) and love the original film, its a definite must buy.

A number of people thought it was going to flop like Colonial Marines but it does the opposite, it's the only Alien game to stay true to the original film.

Enjoyed it on the PS3 but I will definitely get it on PC down the line when it goes on sale, just imagine the mods you'd have for it.

Refrain from fast travelling a lot. That with the camping mod will give you an immersive adventure travelling around Skyrim.
