@Mogan: well written dialogue doesn't very from person to person it's universal. It's why Quinton Tarantino' s films are generally so good and why Shakespeare is still relevant today. Maybe link is better silent I don't know. But perhaps the story would benefit from him having some personality or backstory or a reason to care about what happens to him at all.
@BrunoBRS: yea with link it's different because they imply his lines. I agree. Voicing link would probably be weird too I'll admit. I guess it works ok in zelda but other silent protagonists are pretty annoying.
Silent protagonists are bad story telling and way overused in video games. If you don't want the audience to disagree with what link says then write his dialogue well and you won't have that problem. This game will still be awesome but it's time videogames moved past the silent protagonists BS.
Clear and concise review. This is what all criticism should be. Highlights what's done well and clearly explains what's done wrong. In this case this simply gameplay with the lack of consistency.
@jenovaschilld: apparently they like it judging by this article. But you bring up a good point. Fallout is like a 50s version of the future and 50s Americans were terrified of Russia and nuclear war. I'm sure Russians would probably have a different perspective on the game.
NIce review. I'm definitely going to get this game but first I need that scrilla! Know what I'm saying? Maybe I'll be a Steam Machine. We'll see how those get reviewed.
