Just replaced my '07 Elite with an '08 Elite (the other one developed a fault, cough....).

My new '08 version runs much cooler, quieter and seems to load games much faster - the power supply gets a little warmer than the old one but nothing dramatic.

Overall I am so happy with my new '08 version of the Elite, it's fantastic!

As for the idiot who says you need an extra cooler of the hardware... you obviously have no idea what your on about, plus there are more coolers avaliavle for the PS3 than the Xbox360 - that has to say something about the hardware considering my PS3 seems to get alot warmer than my '05 Premium 360 does!

I have been looking for a cable myself as i tried a few other ethernet cables i just got for the pc but they didnt work even went to a game store and bought one and it doesnt work either. so there must be somethign special about the xbox ones its the only one i have found so far that works but at the minute i dont have one as i accidently wrecked my last one. so i am looking on ebay for a official one as i tred to buy a new one online and couldnt find themwolfie6654

Just purchase Datel's XboxHDD backup tool, it can be used to transfer data AND backup your files onto your computer.

It's cheap too, less than $30

Transfer cable allows you to transfer data from the 20GB HDD to the 120GB HDD so you don't lose your saves.
