Does anyone thing that buying a more expensive HDMI cable, would improve the graphics in GTA 5 and stop the flickering buildings, trees n stuff when driving..... I know its a long shot but thought i would improve some sort of the graphics. Can anyone reccomend any decent HDMI cables. I have two, one for my virgin box and the other for the 360, both cost me around a 10er each.....

well I think the hyped up version that everyone saw was on a PC or an X1 at the least. But yea don't install the play discdailyg
This is gonna sound stupid but do i not virutally need to go to the dashboard and install the play disc ? or have i actually installed the play disc during the install when asked to inset disc 2 ? I have also e-mailed rockstar support to explain to them fully what the problem is to see if i may have a problem with the 360/tv/hdmi cable or wither there will be a patch to sort this out. I wasnt expecting the crystal clear picture that you see in the adverts but surely its not meant to be this bad....

No this guy most certainly is not lying as I experience this problem as well. Lots of the graphics look fuzzy and I also have some frame rate issues when driving. I definitely did not install the two discs. I followed the instructions on screen, inserted disk two when it asked and it just loaded. I'm convinced its my Samsung 3d TV but who knows...!!any suggestions ?

Could the xbox overheating cause lag/frame rate ? The way the Xbox is situated in the unit it does tend to heat up very quickly, or what about the quality of the HDMI cable ?

[QUOTE="Mcspanky37"][QUOTE="melvitron"]Evening Been playing GTA 5 for a couple of days now and have been experiencing some pretty bad lag/frame rate/graphic flickers. I was running my Xbox at 1080p on my Samsung 3D tv until I started noticing this. I had a look around at some forums and someone suggested lower the Xbox to 720 which I have done but I still get lag and graphics look worse. Is there anything I can do? Does this sound like a problem with the Xbox or TV? Any suggestions? Help! *Sorry previously posted a topic in which the topic was spelt wrong

Lowering your resolution doesn't give you better framerates on consoles - they have set native resolutions that they run at no matter what. You need to install your game to your HDD and run it with a disk + HDD install.

Wait so your saying i should install the play disc too and play the game with the disc in the Xbox ? Apparently rock star released a statement advising not to install both discs ?

Thanks for the feedback. No I have not installed the 2nd disk to my Xbox as I was told this would cause gameplay problems. I installed the first disk as instructed on screen and then inserted disk two when asked, and as far as I could see it just loaded the story up and have been using that disk ever since ?
