Great news, I think the original NWN2 was fantastic, I don't know what's with all the complaints. I still haven't played MOTB, but I think with these two expansions and the new downloadable module I will have plenty of gaming time with NWN2, good thing too. I still remember the final battle and all the explosions and storms with all the lvl9 spells.hamidious

The original NWN2 I think was awesome. I dont have a single complaint about it. I think you will enjoy MOTB. The expansion has some of the best dialogues I have seen in a game. It's just a pitty that not all aspects of the game have the same attention to detail.

Or you can expect the same boring dungeon design copied and pasted over and over and over, exploration involving finding rocks and scanning them, a really crappy inventory system, all that good stuff.

You could indeed, but people told me offline that I was too much of a pessimist and I should try to cheer up every now and then, so I am trying the rose coloured glasses, starie eyed approach :)

I'd go for Mass Effect (basically because its the one I am considering getting myself)

As for the Witcher as the above poster said, an enhanced edition is comming out with a lot of bug fixes and a higher quality english localisation as well as other goodies (more animations etc). So it is deffinitly not worth getting now when ina couple of months you can get the shiny edition.

Though I believe noone can honestly claim that Blizzard isn't one of the top companies in their field, the lack of quality in their storytelling just ruins it for me. I think they make great games to play with other people online, but the story that supposedly keeps the action in context very often seems to be just something that was left over from an old pen and paper rpg campaign from when they were kids.
