Wish there were more websites like this one discussing tv problems. http://www.rsm.govt.nz/cms/reception-problems/what-does-my-interference-look-or-sound-like

It could be the tv or the component cables. Possible the component cables are picking up interference from being close to the other cables from the tv such as the power cord or they were defective in manufactoring. Try hooking the wii to another tv with the component cables to see if the problem occurs. if it doesn't contact Sony you may have a defective tv and the store could have gotten a defective batch in. A tip in the future bring in your game consoles in the apporiate travel bag and ask to hook it to the tv to see if it works well. Quite a few gamers bring in a game such as guitar hero or other game sensitive to signal lag which plagues hdtv unless said tv has a game mode which not only adjusts settings to make the games look better then the ordinary settings would render but also disables what causes the lag.

Bring in both the composite and component cables for through testing.

Yes. From what I've read it is a problem with the heatsink not being mounted properly.

Sancroff

Which is a manufactoring error that crops up whenever they up the production numbers. It's only a small percent of wiis.

"sits besides my PS2 & Xbox,"

Those produce lots of heat you need to keep the consoles seperate from one another and make sure there is enough air flow plus cold air coming in. Put in a small space fan to circulate air and remove hot air from the area. A small space fan is much better then any supposed cooling fan addon to a console.

That would be the source of the problem. Either buy a wireless one or call Nintendo. Either way it will set you back over 20 bucks for the cost of the bar plus shipping.

[QUOTE="akai_reaver"]

[QUOTE="bluej33"]Personally, I love the scripted parts. I think they add a lot of interaction to otherwise boring story scenes. And personally, I think the controls are pretty good. Combat-wise, the Wii Remote motion controls are quite good. However, certain brush movements don't work quite so well. For example, the slash control is sometimes hard to trigger both in combat and in the field -- usually this is just because there's a certain areas you're suppose to strike and it's hard to get this exactly. Also, it was probably easier to get a straight line with the PS2 analog stick than with the Wii Remote. Still, these are small complaints and overall the controls, at least to me, actually work quite well. remblade

When you're drawing, you can use Z to draw straight lines.

Exactly, all you have to do is hold the Z button to draw straight lines. It's like these reviewers played it for an hour to try out the controls and then wrote the review from what they remember from the PS2 version. It kinda makes you wonder how thorough any of their reviews are.

The 1up SSX Blur, Trauma Center:Second Opinion, Trauma Center:New Blood and Gamespot Zelda Twilight Princess, Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn review should tell you that reviews of the wii version must be examined with great care namely from several different sources and then compared to find the bs.

Brawl is p2p for the random play. Meaning the connection is important. You have crap connection you cause lag for everyone Don't play.

I have no idea why people with dialup get into online games. They cause the whole internet to suffer.

oymd

I strongly doubt than anyone with dial up will even consider online gaming...how would they even do it if they wanted?

I'm on a 4MB DSL line...U think if I get the game i'll be ok?

Trust me they implement a hack. There are several websites that detail how to do it. They spend a whole heap of time figuring out how to do dialup to do online stuff because they refuse to get broadband. You find tons of people who state dialup is fine and they never need to do broadband.

Your going to get ripped off regardless. Just wait to buy cod4 it will drop down in price soon enough. Use cheapassgamer.com you may be surprised that you can often get new games for far less then gamestop charges for used titles.

Make sure to do the syncing when the wii is first turned on at the screen with the health warning you know the one you press the A button to get past quicker. Do the syncing in that small time frame.

Press the red sync button once on the console when you first turn on the wii and see that screen. Then hit the red button on the wiimote in the battery cover. Then hit the red button on the other wiimotes.
