With a 90 on Metacritic, I thought this game deserves more love from GS, don't you think?

I suck MP in Warcraft/Starcraft... Love the games, but I can't fight and build a base inside a strict BO at the same time, I just can't.

And I thought I sucked in fighting games, despite loving them. I totally suck at SF4. But don't ask me how, I managed to reach a 2/1 level in UMvsC3. But man... MONTHS and MONTHS of training. You really have to love a game, to play the same thing and Practice mode for months. I bought guides, started to memorize frames, bought an arcade stick (required if you want to up your game), and know I can hold my own online.

Problem is, I can't play with my friends. They are under the noob level, so it simply not fun. I let them play, and I keep drinking beer and working as a "consultant".... hehehe... It's kinda of a trade off.

Well, if you played the games, and couldn't get into them, I doubt that I'll manage to convince you otherwise, by text and bad English. :)

But let's go. I have to confess that I can't get into Uncharted/TLOU, and the new GTAs (since 4) games as well. So yes, we are "allowed" to not enjoy highly praised games.

Sometimes I have to read stuff like "So you don't like good games", but that's not it. After a few years gaming, you tend to start liking a more niche experience, and find the games that are outside this niche derivative.

I'm a "super hero" sandbox addicted. I played almost to platinum Infamous, Prototype, ACs and I platinum'ed Batman: AC.

Is Batman: AA a good game? Yes, it is. I liked. But maybe it's not the game to start your Batman experience TODAY. I'd advise you to try B:AC straight. I enjoyed AA back when it was released. Because of the design, the story, the combat/predator system. But that might be dated, if you notice that B:AC is very similar to the AA missions, but spread in a map, connected by a city with side quests.

And as a big fan, I have to say. B:AO sucks. I played, finished, and never ran it again. The new features are slim to none. They managed to ruin the combat system for me, making it more precise and less improvised. The story manages to be more stupid than B:AC. The villains and the way they are presented are not compelling as B:AC.

Long story short. Try B:AC. If you don't like it, don't force it. Go play something that you prefer, and give it a go in a few years. Truth to be told, the sandbox genre was done to death between 2012 and 2013. You could be just a bit tired of it.

I'm having problems to like this game. As a Vanquish fan, I don't mind the stereotypes, the stupid plot, etc. If the gameplay is awesome, I really don't mind.

The parry system is cool, slashing your enemies is fun enough, but the best part for me is the mobility Raiden has. The game can be fast as ecstasy if you have the proficiency to keep it up. I don't mind the invisible walls either (every game in this genre has, let's not compare it to sandbox games).

But my problem with this game is: Camera. And I find it funny that nobody complained about that. Every time you have to use it, t's a pain in the ass. In order to do proper melee, they put the camera a bit farther from the character (compared to Vanquish), and every time you touch the right analog, you don't know if it's going to turn slowly, or super fast. When you do the Ninja Run, I find it impossible to choose which baddie I want to hit exactly.

When you master the "energy spine absorb", then the game is over. You don't have story to keep you playing, nor gameplay satisfaction.

I was looking for this game, but I have to confess. I just gave it up. I have a huge backlog of games, so I don't have time to waste with sub par games...

Just my .99 cents. :P

GUYS! Someone told me that it should work. Thx @MAD_AI for the info on how vouchers work. Here's the code:

GMG25-C5729-7SY25

It'll only work until 15th Nov (EU release date).

According to Green Man Gaming, the key will only be released by launch date, so don't expect buying it, and receiving a pre-order code for Steam.

Cheers, guys.

Hi guys. I'm subscribed to the Green Man Gaming Newsletter, and using a 25% voucher I got on it, I just paid £13 for the Steam version of XCOM: Enemy Within.

The problem is, my friend tried to use the code I got, but it's valid only for my user... :(

So, if you want to try, create an account there and subscribe to the newsletter.

This is not spam or anything, but my buddies and I always share promotions. I paid for B:AO £20 on release date using g2play.net

Hope I can help.

Thankfully, with the help of the user Gelugon_baat test, we confirmed that nobody can see my Comments, but me.

In the main Control Panel screen, it says, under My Moderation History:

"Hopefully this page is empty! But if you've ever had a community contribution moderated, you'll find the records here."

I clicked, and turns out I do have one entry there:

Reason: Moderator Discretion comments - personal attack \"Why don\'t you go outside and play hide and go f**k yourself?\" (BTW, this is a famous Monty Python phrase, but OK, I was mean and deserved the suspension. Phrase of dismissal)
Action taken (item) : Nothing
Action taken (user) : Suspend User for 1 days

I didn't get any Message to tell me I was suspended. I can't see my current status anywhere.

But since then, nobody can see my comments. I posted in this "calm" article today:

http://uk.gamespot.com/news/maplestory-red-update-announced-6408618

And, like many other articles, nobody replies.

Could someone please help?

meatz666, I may have helped you check a few things, but please don't be thinking that I am on your side if you are going into a dispute about a moderation.

That said, someone with a moderator badge has not been reminded that flaming is no longer an offense.

Gelugon_baat
I don't mind being suspended, I can dismay someone been less offensive, no problem. I don't want to question that. I just want to know why nobody see my comments weeks after that.
