sanim02, I messaged u boi! <3 I wanna know stuff.

BTW The reason it seems so odd (and unfortunate) that the game is not a survival simulation is because it's an action adventure game in which the context of the story has a large effect on the gameplay, and the context of the story is survival. I don't suppose strictly survival mechanics would fit into other future tomb raider adventures. Although it would be awesome.

Me too, maybe he was just trolling.

Maybe he doesn't know anything, neither his friend.

Maybe all those 'my friends play it' stuffs are lies.

Maybe he is TR hater to post that. Maybe the next Tomb Raider doesn't have any flaws.

Maybe we are going to see the best game of this generation as Square Enix said earlier.

I was going to post a thread but I would've probably not been taken seriously.

My friend playtested the game at Square Enix Montreal and he said it took him about 9 hours to finish. There's still a lot of polishing left, but its mostly for glitches and multiplayer balances, (yes there's multiplayer for hunters vs survivors).

There are only 5 weapons in the game, (pickaxe, bow, pistol, rifle (I believe? have to ask him again) and shotgun). All weapons can be upgraded (bow gets the zoom feature, pistol magically becomes a magnum by sawing off the barrel, shotgun becomes a sawed off, etc. Multiplayer is Bow focused cuz its OP.

If you thought the quick time events and Lara constantly squirming while platforming was annoying in the demos, its like that the whole game. He hasn't played Uncharted 3, but said that its way too over the top with how many times he got completely wrecked in the game and he only bruised her stomach after a series of tumbles. Not very realistic according to him.

He finished Uncharted 1 only since he only has a 360, but says that even UC1 is better. Would give it a 6 or 5 because the game is too repetitive and the survival sh*t (like killing animals to eat) you only really do in the beginning. He did say the story is good though. I can't spoiler tag, but if anyone wants to know about the environments, lemme know. It's very diverse from jungle to ... other stuff lol.

Hi. Can you share those diverse environments please? :)

For me I think it was Neverwinter Nights 2, so far. That game is insane, specially at the end even on Easy difficulty level.

StrawberryHill

Yeah, that game is insanely difficult at the end.

Its hard in the middle too. But at last its a nightmare.

some old arcade games like super mario, commander keen, dave etc are very hard to beat. now-a-days games are much easier.

[QUOTE="Muxika"][QUOTE="Erik729"]

Mine would have to be

1.Shinobi(PS2)

2.Stuntman(PS2)

3.I would say Ninja Gaiden Sigma, but it's beatable, just frustrating in doing so. The above two, I cannot beat.

Erik729

I have to agree with #2...good numbering pun, because it certainly is #2 :-P

The strange thing is that I really loved the game too. I never beat it, but I did get to the Bond-type film which I think is the last one, I just. can't. beat it.

I don't know if a lot of people played it, but the precision was so demanding, and almost luck based in some areas. Like hitting a flying microlite with a snowmobile after a level of insane difficult stuff.

yah. Ninja Gaiden Sigma is tooooooooooo hard.

Really? Wasn't that hard of a game, unless you're talking about the impossible race mission. I used the patch for that, and even after putting the difficutly on easy it was a little bit difficult.

I beat the race unpatched, after hundreds of tries and rage.

Me too.
