Mostly true by my research. One known trade-off for CoD: Advance Warfare, Far Cry 4, and The Witcher 3 is they run at less than 1920x1080 resolution and rely on upscaling (horizontal only on CoD:AW and FC4, horizontal and vertical for The Witcher 3). Meanwhile, the PS4 versions run at 1920x1080 (native 1080p).

PS4 fans have pretty much screwed themselves screaming for 1080p. If devs had done the same resolution as the Xbox One versions, there's no doubt they would run better on PS4.

Also, The Witcher 3 is an odd one. The frame-rate on PS4 is locked and typically steady, while the Xbox One version is unlocked, but rises and drops frequently. Some argue the X1 version runs better because it's occasionally higher than the PS4 version, some argue the X1 version is worse because it's occasionally lower than the PS4 version, or simply because it's unstable. Basically, it's not definitively better or worse based on frame-rate alone. But the fact that it runs at 900p is something to keep in mind before claiming it's "better."

AC Unity is the only one I know of, and I can't confirm that for myself.

I agree that "runs better" can mean different things. Many games that run as well or better than PS4 versions take a hit in resolution to get there. Or comparable frame-rate means more v-sync (screen tearing) issues, reduced texture quality, fewer filters and effects, etc.

There's always a trade-off made somewhere to make it "run" as well or "better." So this seems like a foolish, opinion-based, fact-ignoring, fanboy-fueling topic.
