Glad Cities: Skylines made the top 15. Haven't gotten this involved with a city sim since SimCity 2000. I really think Mad Max should have been in the Top 25 but my individual review varies heavily from Gamespot's.

Also, watching you guys try to make sense of the Carmageddon gameplay footage made me lol. I can understand how someone who hasn't played the new one or the originals would be confused and shocked haha.

What happened to the most anticipated games of 2016 video? I was just watching it and it stopped 2/3rds the way through and said it couldn't be found anymore. You guys have some licensed, not-meant-to-be-released clips in there? I was really enjoying it!

Does anyone remember when CS 1.6 had the tactical shield? THAT was ridiculous. The R8 isn't half as bad as that atrocity.

The R8 really is fun to use, but when you've got comp matches where both teams are all buying R8s it gets a little ridiculous. I'm sure the intention was to provide something new, but they accidently changed the way the whole game is played.

Most other games it wouldn't be an issue but because CS:GO has such a competitive community and a big place in E Sports they're going to have to keep tweaking it until it all balances out again. With the new nerf they're defintely closer.

@Mogan: Gotcha, makes sense.

Additionally, to spin off of your recent post, paying $75 on day one doesn't scream "value" to me. I love the XCOM series including the old originals, but there's no way I'm shelling out that kind of dough when I know it'll be on sale for at least 30% off within the first year on Steam. Getting to play this later isn't a deterrent for me, and getting the GOTY edition for 50% or more off a year later is how I do most of my game shopping.

It really is a turnoff for me when a game that will undoubtedly be great comes with a bunch of extra day 1 DLC that could have been included in the original title. Why does 2K keep doing this? Look at the Evolve community, it's dead. If they would have released the base game, then slowly released the DLC as the community ebbed and flowed they could have really kept it rolling.

Just look at Payday 2. A solid base game that the devs kept building on with small DLC packages and updates. They retained a massive loyalty until the recent issues with the safes/drills/skins blowback.

Lie to us. Sell us the base game and don't mention the extra DLC besides, "we'll work on some extra content that will be released down the road." Who cares if it's done already, we don't have to know about it. That way we feel like you're continuing to support the game and its community instead of feeling like we're getting part of the complete package straight off the bat.
