I've played both of these with friends and family and we really enjoyed them. The frustrating thing with this one was the path to killing off two of our five group members was fairly arbitrary and left us feeling a little cheated in the end. Regardless it was worth the purchase for a Halloween weekend playthrough. 7/10 in my book when played with someone else.

Black, white, asian, alien, who cares? I don't recall any missions asking me to divert power to gender pronouns or disrupt a heterosexual marriage. How can you get so upset over something so innocuous?

I put 211 hours in RSS before I shelved it indefinitely. I loved the game in its early stages, the tactical combat focused around teamwork and strategic breaching. Now the game is something else entirely. It's great that the game keeps evolving and keeps thing interesting for new and old players alike, but it caused me to lose interest. I preferred the much more tactical, breach & clear gameplay than the current meta which focuses on strange operator abilities that make it feel like I'm playing overwatch or something.

Almost four years have gone by and i’m still in shock that this game was reviewed as a 6/10. Someone from the gamespot team should really revisit this masterpiece.
