@X_CAPCOM_X: If you mean the blackhole event, it's like that on all platforms. The point of this article was meant to cover the PSN server issues.

@srfilk86: lol, all the hate they would get from people that invested in MTs would heavily outweigh you buying their next $60 game.

@velite: Your Fortnite-derangment syndrome has you looking at the article all wrong.

The issue here isn't that someone would have the audacity to write an article about a video game on a video game site but that the main point of the article being about a major network outage on a major console and then somehow roping in a unrelated game in to the story.

Fortnite 100% deserves articles on this site but what's currently going on in that game already has its own article and it has nothing to do with PSN.

I guess no one is playing so they're doing this to try and pull players in.

@gunnyninja: Name a game on their platform you can't get on any other.

Literally dozens of games, is this a joke? It was a huge deal when they stole Metro Exodus, The Walking Dead Final Season, The Division 2 and Shenmue 3 from Steam. They already announced Rocket League will be leaving Steam for Epic's Store. Obviously Fortnite isn't on Steam anywhere, which yes they can do that but plenty of other companies like Ubisoft offer up their brand new AAA games at the same time on their client as they do others.

But hey if you want to live with your head in the sand for a few free cheap games that's fine by me.

@Xylymphydyte: Have you ever sued someone over the fraudulent term "buy one get one free"?

@gunnyninja: Prices for other games are shit. Still missing tons of key features other platforms have. Steals games away from peoples preferred clients. Possibly sketchy client that steals data from you.

Yeah I wonder where the hate comes from.

@ginxeno:
1. Well the main game I mentioned Destiny 2 requires internet so if you bought it for either home console or on Steam then you wouldn't be able to play those when you shut down your internet at all. With Stadia however you could just grab a tablet that can connect to WiFi and play at your local library.

2. The gym analogy 100% works. The games on Stadia work just like the gym equipment. Once the gym (Stadia) closes, then you can no longer use the gym equipment (games).
