I personally think that buying a PS3 is not worth it right now.

I am in exactly the same position as you. I considered getting one about a week ago, and was excited by the prospect but the truth is that there is very little point at the moment if you have a 360 and a PC.

This isn't to say that it wont be worth getting one later this year, but the price of the console may have dropped by then. So IMHO people like you and me are better to wait until there is a nice line-up of about 2-3 games that actually make it worth the purchase.

MGS4, FF and the inclusion of some J RPG's and other Sony exclusives would totally sway me. But they are only on the horizon so I will wait.

Basically Jeff was fired from Gamespot because of his review of Kane and Lynch. Eidos essentually said to CNet (Gamespots's owner) that if they didn't can him then they would pull their advertising. So CNet fired him.

Jeff himself sent a message to Joystiq confirming that its true about the termination.

I have just cancelled my subscription out of protest.

I always suspected that the heavy advertising would creep into the review/reviewers eventually. I want balanced uncorrupted opinion thanks. Eidos, you suck at making games and you suck at throwing your weight around. Are you going to send the heavies round to sort me out too?
