What Video Format do you use for uploading your videos.

well usually WMV, seems to be the only working format for me atleast (but back in the days of course ) MOV, MP4 and FLV has a small chance of success, for example a year ago i uploaded a video using MOV, MP4, AVI and FLV but it didn't work then after that i converted my video to WMV format it worked just fine.(maybe Gamespot uses some old versions of codecs of some sort i don't know ) maybe it's just a random glitch either way we do have a problem uploading videos here that's for sure.
Hey everyone. Can you see your friend's profiles and blogs again? It lookslike they've done some changes, but I wanted to make sure before the bug gets closed.

Hey Jody, no it still on, as i said before after retracking each other again we gain access to our friend's profiles but for some reason it didn't work in their blog section(it did for some tho ) , and even in those accessible blogs/profiles the Track button rests the minute i enter their blog's section, meaning i can steal view some of my friends blogs (even when the Track button rests) but for example right now i can view my friend @syler4815162342's profile (it was accessible before) but when i hit to read one of his blogs Gamepsot gives me this message : Sorry, syler4815162342's profile is set to private.
I try to upload my videos in WMV format and it always says Failed to Decode whenever it finishes. Can anyone tell me about the issue and how do I solve it.

I've tried all kind of formats and now i can assure you GS's video hosting is completely broken.
P.S: i posted this thread long time ago and no one seems to care about it.
To everyone with the problem, have you tried re-tracking the user you have the problem with? That seemed to fix it for princess_peach and noteldnephorgen123
we did, but the thing is it doesn't work with everyone, for example i got a PM today that (one of my oldest friends) is my friend now(and he was trying to vew my blogs for a while now and i asked him to try to un-track the re-track me ) he just posted a comment in my blog saying "Look who's able to drop by finally" the thing is now i can't get access to his profile and it says thathis profile is set to private:|
Oh and one more thing every time i try to Edit my blog it loads the blog Editor without any content no pics, no text just empty space.(i don't know this new bug might not be related ) but just in case.
Same thing here, a few of my friends PM'ed me asking me to open my profile to everyone , but the thing is my profile is set to everyone (only my blogs are set to friends only ) maybe because GS is un-tracking us (i re-tracked alot of my friends lately ) Update: i just noticed the "un-tracking " bug shows only when we open our friends blogs (but on the main profile page we're still tracking each other ) and no matter how much i re-track my friends the minute i re-enter their blogs it rests to "Track" again.

Can anyone please fix the video uploading glitch already:cry: i used WMV, MOV, and MP4 format and i tested the same file on 2 different websites and it works just fine , so i't's not from our side just saying :)
oh and just to let you know this is a very old glitch and it's random (once i uploaded a video file and got the same "Video encode failed" PM for 3 times 2 files in AVI format and the last one i used WMV and it worked the third time around ) so i guess it's a random glitch.
i've tried to upload a video file for like (8 times during the last 4 days ) but still not working.
