So let me get this straight...the company are giving what costumers and reviewers wanted, and you're saying that's wrong? Then, when a game like CoD had their hundredth release, you give them a 8,5+? Seriously? Decide yourself for once! One thing is "give what costumers want", another thing is "recycle using what costumers want". The first one is basically the formula of pretty much every successful non-fps game franchise, like when Mario, Metroid and Zelda went 3D and were fantastic, and Resident Evil 1 to 4. The later is what CoD, Battlefield, Halo, Gears of War and God of War games nowadays. Same engine from way back with slicker visuals, improved gameplay and multiplayer and extras, but no story whatsoever, or much less compared to previous games.

Flawed commentary. First, he's only developed games for Sony's consoles and they're all exclusives to them, so of course, when he said "We don't need new consoles until (insert random year here)", he meant "We'll still make a great, exclusive games to the PS3, so hey competition, don't make any other console to trouble our business, ok?"Second, his own Heavy Rain game pushed the PS3 hardware quite a bit far, not only farther than Uncharted 3 because of marketing plans (and because Uncharted 3 uses a dual-layer Blu-ray). Sure, the graphics are awesome, but it's more like an interactive movie where, at the few points you really control your character, all you can do is walk or run. Is that real gameplay? I don't think so. Finally, consoles NEED to be updated, just like computers need their updates sooner or later. You can't keep a console alive just with online updates forever. Software and hardware must be hand-in-hand if a console wants to play games or any other thing at its maximun, just as much we need creativity AND technology to make a truly great game. After all, Is gaming companies thinking backwards nowadays? First, block used games in next-gen, and now this??

@grayyfoxx You, sir, earned my respect. Too bad the real logic is this: Companies wants money, so they make what can give them tons of money, so people buy it and recommend it to others, and so the company manager says "See? That formula's still working! Do that again in the next sequel!!". Lather, rinse, repeat. I myself love RPGs of all kinds, but truth be told, they don't give as much money as FPS games, or any other game that heavily focuses on online multiplayer over single-player. Just so to keep this shorter, gamers in general doesn't want to think while playing games, instead, they just want something to kill time...in no way I must think while playing a FPS, racing, adventure or fighting game at all...at the very least, it's hundreds of times less than a good RPG like Lost Odyssey.

@OHGFawx Ninja Gaiden? Please tell me you're joking. Ninja Gaiden it's from the NES times, and it was produced by Tecmo...

Agreed, we must have a Kinect HD sequel and bundle it up with next-gen xboxs...or xboxes...if Microsoft want to take Kinect more serious instead of just a peripheral...But then again, wouldn't it ruin Microsoft's plan to make an affortable console? Remember that USA and Europe are still in financial crisis and won't spend money on something new, unless it's REALLY revolutionary..(and in some cases, not even if it is)...and face it, Blu-Ray isn't revolutionary anymore itself. Sony's developing new formats of ultra-high quality audio and video technologies for PS4. That's what they meant with "(the costumers) doesn't need a PS4 right away"

Way to go Blizzard. 10 years of development and we got a single-player-only game with bugs!!Shame on you for slacking so much and focusing on World of Warcraft so much. I guess programmers aren't used to program games like Diablo anymore.

"skyscraper-sized" ....hmmm, reminds of Dead Space 1's final boss...but really, that's isn't a great addition..I'm relieved for not transforming Dead Space into a flying simulator, as rumors spoken, but at the same time, the basic formula is the same, so why having to wait so much until DS3? Plus, survival-horror games with online play is incredibly lame, since veteran players will know what'll happen next and thus spoiling the fun...except the necromorph vs humans, since it's all about survival...but co-op?Surprise me, EA.
