Yes. I think many people are having their nostalgia glasses on when comparing the OoT. I recently beat ocarina of time for the first time and I found the controls to be incredibly twitchy at times especially with locking on enemies and getting hit by them. Many aspects of the game seemed very unpolished too. Some characters were very memorable like the Zora king and princess but most of the other characters were very underdeveloped.

Zelda PH and ST were incredibly polished with tight controls and addicting dungeons. The temple of the ocean king was a bit annoying but the rest of game had new surprises and had an amazing atmosphere even if it was on DS.
