So excited for this if they do it right! The original is a really cool game and had a weird unsettling creepy vibe to it. I hope they can capture that again.
I feel like Microsoft has pretty much given me £300 by dropping this news, thanks Microsoft for potentially making a dumb decision. Always online won't really affect people anyway though because the xbox 720's will all be sat on the shelves unsold.
For all this talk of people being uncomfortable with the prospect of kissing a guy in a game as a female character; is it not more uncomfortable having gaming being a complete sausage fest for the rest of time? For a start its a game in which you control somebody else's actions, you've got to be pretty insecure in yourself to feel that an action taken in such an environment is going to have any sort of implications on your personality or sexual preference.
Talk about games not maturing, how about the Silent Hill series? Granted its not been at its best of late but the themes explored in those titles are pretty extreme and mature. He'd have to really push the boat out to top those.
