Just wondering if there is a way of taking in-game screenshots of gameplay without a hacked psp firmware.

I recently got a new slim psp with firmware 3.90 and I am creating a few game guides with a few different psp games and I really want to be able to take screenshos of secret places and such.

I'm hoping there is a proper way of taking screenshots because I'm not prepaired to screw up my psp.

However I might be interested in purchasing a older PSP-1000series psp which I think this is possible with http://www.cheatsync.net/SVCapture.html but this requires some custom firmware I'm not quite sure about.

An ideas?

I've decided to make a Component to Composite Video Converter.

Because it looks like it's impossible to do this, with a standard TV.

I know I cannot purchase a Capture Card with Component, just wondering if there is anything other than standard a/v which I can use to games on a tv or capture card. Maybe S-Video?

Hello,

I was trying to connect my psp up to my tv as well as a tv capture card in the future.

There are two possible options I can choose from there is Composite and Component.

My TV and Capture Card only supports Composite video, the one with Video (Yellow), Audio (Red & White).

I went to purchase an official "Composite" cable and he (the seller) told me it would only allow me to play psp movies on my tv and not the games. I want to play the gams and I did some internet research and couldn't find anything about composite cables not playing games on the TV.

So could someone please clear something up for me please?

If I buy a composite cable for the psp, will it allow me to play PSP Games with it?
