My Wii version is currently tucked away in a closet waiting for Christmas. I'm excited to play the newest installment, but have heard it doesn't compare to the other consoles. Any thoughts?
Anyone remember Ironsword for the NES? I was a pretty fun game for its time, but it used to get me SOOOO p.o.'d! Extra lives were very limited and you could not save your game at all. When you were dead, you were dead. I used to leave my NES on pause all day when I went to school and just turn the TV off. Many times I would come home to find that someone had turned off my game, ruining a whole days work! I'm not sure when the option to save your game became standard, but DANG, it sure made things whole lot easier.
Oh yeah, I've broken a few controllers back in the day, but most of the damage came from people tripping on the wires.
If anybody can play Jordan on expert please link vids, that would be awesome, I'm trying to learn but can't get it at all.

Ah, man. I wish I had a 360 for this game. I'll likely need to wait for the Wii version. My friend can play Jordan on Expert with his back to the screen and get 88% of all the notes. It's ridiculous and incredibly cool and nerdy at the same time. Imagine the dedication... As for learning to play it, it's all finger positioning. Just practice each tiny loop over and over again. That first minute and 30 or so seconds is pretty easy, just three real combos.Three real positions. From then on, it's finger speed. Doing those three notes then ripping your fingers back in form to hit the next three is a tad disorienting and takes practice. In order to even try and keep up with my buddy, I spent about an hour just playing to this spot and restarting once I finished those three-sets. Since you're never really playing two notes at once, it's annoying to pull off. It's basically all the same deal from then on. Finger speed and memorizing. Again, you're really never playing two notes at once, so get your hand speed and your combos together. Just all those bits and pieces, so that when you finally start getting it down, you can try and recall what you need to do. There's no real trick to it. Finger/hand speed and positioning. Break down those lines into single notes and repeat, repeat repeat. i play enough to bruise my thumb and get some muscle burn from playing fight night round 3. i'm taking a break from that now but I just bought the godfather.. that's not as demanding as fight night.. but on good days I can play for 7hrs.. maybe even 14. I can appreciate the thumb bruising.......I remember back in the day when the NES was king, that damn D-pad would tear up your thumb!
