Keep an eye on them though, the STEAM sales normally drop them to 2-3$. The last two of the series are incredible games, run really well on older systems and looks beautiful.
My only gripe is that the series has no co-op so if you want to be merc, you're stuck by yourself. But managing an entire empire; this game rocks.
There are countries in the world who have no way of knowing nor seeing any of the violence that stems in our videogames, yet they are amongst the most violent and destructive places in the world.
The same argument from generation still applies: violence and hatred breed violence and hatred. Love, respect and trust go a long way to becoming a person with those traits. Violence and hatred are too easy to subscribe to, that's why we see such a lack of it in our world today.
Go back to the Viet-Nam war and ask the citizens how they felt watching the war for the first time on television, then come back and tell me it caused a more violent world. It had an opposite impact.

Umm, whether you are playing for hours on a social networking game, or hours in a game that you enjoy, in both instances, it could be stated that you're "wasting your time". To someone who only plays video games, reading a book would seem like a waste of time to said person, and vice versa.
PC FTW. I own a x360, Wii and PS3, and have a Vista x64 with 8gb of RAM on a nvidia 280 1gb GPU, Macbook for the wife, Macbook Pro for myself, and I can safely say that my favorite of all 4 systems is my PC. Gaming in groups of friends is best on console, I will admit to that, but my PC makes every game I've ever played that much more fun because I can afford to play games at their best. The PC, as with every other comparison, is an obvious win. As for the off-topic: uncharted 2 looks like a great game, can't wait to play it, but too many great PC games out and on the horizon! :) PEACE
I don't even know why they bother...the PC will always hold the market in terms of higher resolution and anti-aliasing and other such graphical enhancements because of the possibility to upgrade your hardware. The console is for the average gamer who doesn't feel like forking over the money for the best result. I don't like the idea that sites rating games are comparing games between systems when clearly several of the games are simply ported from one system to another. PEACE
"zilcher How much more of a battery drain will this be? Why don't they make a whole brand new remote altogether?" Excellent point, but it is most likely so it would not conflict with other mold designs that the existing Wiimote fits in. (i.e zapper, wheel, etc)
I'll be upgrading my PC eventually, but CoD4 and WiC are running nice enough on high with a lower than avg. framerate, but still looks nice. I had to uninstall Crysis since it wouldn't run that nice, but once I upgrade, I will definitely be enjoying the sandbox feel of this game. Can't wait to drive a tank through a jungle! :) PEACE
